Absolutely disgusting rhetoric from a former teammate. I don’t care that Perk is a media personality now, that’s a low blow.

That bulletin board gonna be spicy.

  2. And espn has the audacity to ask themselves why their ratings dip every year….smh.

  3. Perk is an idiot. Dunno why some of yall surprised what comes out of his unintelligent mouth.

  4. McJumbos

LOL a dumb take from a dumbass – nothing to see here

  5. LLUrDadsFave

I hope that Russ gets to do an interview on NBA today soon.

  6. Dapper-Motor-9968

Hope Russ sees this and addresses it if the Clips win the series. Russ defends Luka as good as anyone in the league, just gotta ignore espn ignorance

People forget their whole job is to say shit like this. Throw little jabs here and there and then never be accountable when they end up wrong because we’re an ADHD content black hole society.

If you listen to Perk on a podcast like when he went on all the smoke, you can easily see this is just his character he plays. An obnoxious hot take machine that over embellishes his pidgin dialect of hoood, redneck, and short bus rider.

  8. PLATINUMPLAYERHATER

the irony of this drawling yokel trying to talk about smarts is too much

  9. momtoohigh

Russell is a beast man. Perk is a big dummy.

Ngl im worried about next 2 games, the amount of stuff i have seen from kyrie and luka getting away on defense were horrendous. The hand check, grabbing waist when player tries to post em even in that clip of Luka guarding Kawhi, you can see him grabbing his waist, 3 mins earlier dude pushed coffey away. I just want fair officiating for once

  11. ESPN gonna trade his analyst contract to Yahoo sports for a 10lb bag of carrots and whatever amount of loose change the executive got in his pocket at the time of transaction.

  12. Isn’t this the guy who averaged 5 points 5 rebounds over his career?

It’s a dumb statement but why is it disgusting? lol

  15. TigerKlaw

You know what, I’m tired of seeing the same “Luka is a great defender” posts from the nba sub. We gotta do something about this when we win the next game.

Dude is just the horse from Animal Farm

  17. mango_chile

If he said this 12 years ago, maybe. But Russ is as Wiley a veteran as they come. I’m going Clips in 7

  18. dope_ass_user_name

Crazy he gets paid a lot to talk shit

  19. simonffplayer

spoken by all-time great kendrick perkins with the 5ppg career average. definitely someone that we shoudl value their opinion on basketball

  20. Jealous_Foot8613

Honestly I kinda get what he’s saying , russ as great as he is , isn’t known for having the best basketball IQ , he often makes bone headed plays

When guarding a guy like luka , you have to have a certain defensive understanding, certain angles and how to position yourself, how to contest without fouling and knowing where help is etc

Russ isn’t renowned for his defence and I wouldn’t expect him to really lock down luka like some other elite defenders

  21. Herbetet

Don’t listen to him. Don’t interact to his comments. Don’t click, watch or in any way mention his content. If enough people do that, we will never have to hear or see this idiot ever again.

  22. Icy-Seaworthiness270

Perk wasn’t good enough to get paid

  23. Verum_Sensum

he should move the F on and start his life somewhere else far from basketball.

  24. giventofly2

Perk switched up when Russ was on the lakers and in trading rumours. There was clear friction between Russ and Lebron and Perk obviously chose Klutch side. He’s a douche who will say anything to go viral, only reason he has a job.

Espn pays for clicks, not meaningful analysis
