  1. LBJ not going to happen. Dejounte Murray comes back to SA and so does Derrick White. Keldon, Sochan, and picks leave town

  2. The cap space and rebuild situation. Listen man we’ll prob win 1 but how tf are we gonna fill that space once he’s gone lmaon

  3. I take LeBaron James and junior James As long as HE can take a PAY CUT ✂️ 🤣 😤 so we can get a couple more pieces to actually make it the championship…🎉🎉🎉

  4. Idk … giant clash of egos between him and Pop… Even though they have an admiration for one another

  5. Why is this a thing, homey had a chance to come here instead of the Lakers. Homey chose the Lakers, so stay out there.

  6. Lebron should go back to Cleveland, but he stays in LA. I'd be happy to see him on the floor with the Spurs though! That dude can teach everyone how to play their position and we could manage his minutes like no other team.

  7. I'm not convinced that the Spurs are just one great player away from contending. Contending teams almost always develop over 5 or 6 years of a core group growing together. Yes, there are two or three stars on the team, but the next 5 or 6 players on the roster are always solid, complementary veterans who know the team's system well. The Spurs are a couple of years away from that and, by then, even LeBron will have to bow to Father Time. My goal for the Spurs next year is to qualify for the playoffs. That would be awesome just to get that far. The next year maybe they go deep into the playoffs, and the year after that they may contend.

  8. This won't happen, unless the Spurs draft Bronny ….
LeGM is a great player, for sure but, too old, too narcissistic and too toxic …

  9. If LeBron was smart , and didn’t want his son to flame out of the league behind some random coach with the wrong system or team around him , he’d want his son to play the most established coach in NBA history. Pop has a proven track record of turning randoms into household names. That would be giving his son the best opportunity. Bronny has a pass first gift which somebody like Wemby desperately needs. I think Bronnys ceiling and game are actually quite comparable to Jamal Murray’s though Bronnys a bit better defensively and more explosive. Not saying he’s better now , but under the tutelage of Pop he could easily be. That’s the future. Wemby already downed the nuggets solo , in part because he’s the only player in the league to matchup well with Jokic. If LBJ sr holds true to his word and comes with his son , I believe you are instant contenders. Wemby can draw immense information from LBJ , LBJ can finally be coached by someone who knows more than him. And his son gets to develop in the best possible situation. LA isn’t for kids trying to find their game or confidence.

  10. I don't want an old, blame deflecting fossil that doesn't impact winning at his price tag! I'll take Trae Young before I take his @ss! Stay TF away from my franchise! If Pop was his favorite coach… he had plenty of chances to sign here! Don't come piggybacking in the $h!t years of your career! He's not even top 5!

  11. I don’t mind if we get lbj. Best bet we could get and he fills a couple of needs. A big wing that can play point to pf or even center in small ball. We draft bron by second round and we lose nothing I think bronny will be a good nba player with above average defense. Also Timmy the goat mj second Kobe 3rd and lbj 4th

  12. Hot take: LeBron has been talking to the press a lot about family and settling down. San Antonio is great place for family-oriented players. At his age, he may be also thinking strategically about his future. He has has a relationship with PATFO. Maybe he's thinking of going the Jason Kidd/Ty Lue route, and having already been under Spoelstra, working next to Pop, which LeBron talks about his experience with Team USA all the time, gives him some extra apprenticeship. If they can get him without sucking up salary cap he obviously doesn't need, and LJ gets the intangible value the Spurs organization is known for, adding LeBron could add some gravity to the Spurs, and give Brian Wright's job some zing to do some interesting things within our historic shrewdness. We're in a new world with Wright at the helm. He sees the world differently than RC did in that role. It's all speculation, right? But, there is a version in the multiverse where LeBron takes a massive pay cut to do something bigger than rings for his future. The Spurs organization could help make that a reality in this version.

  13. ok for elite veterans, but if it's to increase the average age of the team from 23 to 30 years old, no thank you…

rather good veterans entering their thirties.

  14. Lebron is in a weird spot imo. He’s too good for a vet minimum, so we’d have to pay quite a bit for him, but he’s also only got maybe 2 more good years of play. We’d have to sign some crazy 2 year deal or a diminishing 4 year, neither of which fit the spurs/ wemby timeline. I’d rather draft talent to pick up some elite FAs
