There’s got to be a larger conversation around keeping the best basketball players in the world healthy. Injuries are too commonplace nowadays for stars who play 40+ mins. NBA needs to change to account for the greater pace of the game that is grinding players to the dirt, that still keeps the game intact.
Maybe spacing out the regular season more (tv sponsors won’t like that). Maybe stricter rules around airborne players. Maybe less incentive to play mildly injured players.
