a half so the total is just a few points higher uh the spread’s very similar Boston opened at nine and a half in game one got bet up to 10 now we’re looking at a nine for game two and a lot of people will be looking at the close game in game one the BOS the fact that Boston lost uh game two in the second round and in the first round I’m not going to buy into that too much I think Boston had their let down in game one they got a little bit of a a warning so I I really don’t expect Boston to come out flat here like we saw in the previous two series unfortunately for me I I have a bet on the series handicap at Pacers plus two and a half games and narrowly losing game one doesn’t do us any favors in that department but if you didn’t get in on that bet you look at the price now Pacers plus two and a half games is plus 130 I think that’s an even better bet at that price we were never really counting on them winning game one in Boston anyways another one I’m looking at is uh 18 to one on Boston to win game two and lose the series and if you think that’s counterintuitive I will explain it like this uh the longer this series goes on the more opportunity there will be for one of the PAC or for one of the Celtic starters to get banged up one or two of the Celtic starters to get banged up right now Indiana has the advantage with the deeper bench and uh they’re not really reliant on one star player I mean halberton obviously they are somewhat reliant on him but they have cakam they have several guys that can step up and score score for them whereas uh the Celtics can’t afford to lose anybody right now really and uh the longer this series goes on the the more that Indiana can drag it out like we saw with the Knicks the more they’ll have a a puncher chance let’s say so I I I’d say sprinkle maybe uh a quarter of a unit on that Boston to win game two and lose the series uh my focus isn’t going to be on the side for game two I’m gonna focus on the total we saw a very high-scoring game in game one and the fact that it went to overtime had nothing to do with the total going over it was 117 to 117 in regulation and it was going over regardless uh even if the Celtics missed that last shot to tie the game it still would have been well over the total uh the score in the first half was 64 to 64 both teams went over their team total I’m going to look at the team total for the Boston Celtics to go over in the first half of uh game two we had the Pacers team total in game one now we got the Celtics team total in game two uh like I said game one was extremely high scoring and we look at the shooting percentages it’s an indication that it wasn’t because they were hitting their shots it was because of the pace at which they were playing uh the Pacers do lead the playoffs in shooting percentage uh 51% from the field in the playoffs 38% from three-point range in game one they shot 53 and a half% so slightly better than their average but below their average from three-point range at 37% and the Celtics they’re shooting 48% in the playoffs they shot 47 and a half percent in game one and well below their three-point percentage as well 33% from Beyond The Arc in game one when they’re averaging 37% in the postseason so at this pace these teams are both going to score points I like the over but the play is going to be on Boston team total over 60 in the first half if
