LeBron’s been looking for another Kyrie since they split up. Rondo was nowhere near Kyrie but in 2020, he was the only pg since Kyrie that took a lot of the playmaking/floor general burden off of him.
LeBron should’ve faded into a secondary scorer/playmaker star by now but that’ll require having guards that can actually justify taking the ball out of his hands and that can get to the rim without a screen.

Russ + 2 first rounders was better than whatever Brooklyn got for Kyrie from Dallas. Tsai refuses the trade out of spite. A tanking team wants more picks. Dallas was the only other team to make an offer, Kyrie was seen as a huge risk by everyone else except LeBron. Good on Dallas and Cuban

Kyrie was the best #2 the LeBron has played with. Yes, Wade was a better player, but for what he brings to the table, Kyrie is a near-perfect complement to LeBron.

What bothers me is that we have a lot of new players coming into the league that are really fun to watch, payers like Ja and Ant make amazing dunks, tall players like Wemby are entertaining to watch defensively, etc, but we have no one coming into the league like Kyrie.
