welcome back earlier this morning the Washington Wizards along with general manager Will Dawkins introduced the draft picks from this year’s NBA draft Alex SAR Bob Carrington and kesan George rocking their jerseys as well too and we are happy to be joined well Meg is at least Meg McDonald has a special guest let’s go very happy to be joined by Bob kton one of the newest Washington Wizards first and foremost congratulations being from Baltimore what is it like how special is it to be in Washington DC as a professional basketball play Oh super special you know that’s be a great feeling just to know that all the people that you know cared about you wanted you to grow and be the best basketball you could be you playing right in their backyard you know so that’s definitely a great fell how many people have hit you up for tickets already usually over 100 yeah it’s been a lot I don’t know what to tell them hey we’ll cross that bridge when we get there how would you describe this rookie class coming into Washington I would describe them first they’re really good guys you know I’ve been with them for the last couple days you know um they’re first of all they’re really good guys really good basketball players smart basketball players and I feel like one thing we all have in comments were all pretty versatile you know I feel like that’s one thing they tried to like strive for in this draft class and I feel they hit the nail right on it’s certainly been a worldwind of the last 48 hours between getting drafted you’re already here in Washington you came from a press conference earlier a community event as well how would you describe the last two days for you uh eventful uh I would say pretty tiring but uh the hard Parts almost out the way and then ready to put your boots back on the ground head back on the basketball court last question for me how special is it to be sharing a gym with the Washington Mystics and how important is it to bring light to the women’s game oh very important you know uh the WNBA is just as important as the NBA you know and I feel like it’s definitely moving towards more um to be more inclusive more equality things like that so it’s definitely a special thing it’s a special feeling I just ran into them earlier when I was trying to go in the cold tub and they were in there it was different but it was like like that’s how it should be I feel like so yeah it was definitely a cool thing well bub congratulations welcome to Washington thank you I’m glad to be here back to you guys thank you so much
