make of your first summer league performance and how you performed out there um just happy I was able to play hard and um did a lot of good things did a lot of things I can get better at and just just super excited really you talked about when we first met you about your last season at actor working on more modern NBA five skills yeah did you feel that already in the summer league game that you P fited at that spot with this team oh yeah oh yeah I think uh coaches doing a good job and teams do a good job putting me in the right position and just just I’m just playing as hard as I can so anything you’re focusing on skill-wise whether that’s screening rebound passing in particular in yes uh you know keeping the main thing the main thing I’m good at rebounding defending and just you know just adding to my game so like offensively shots from uh outside the perimeter and stuff like that notice Jo something positive to said your teammates after plays even when you’re on the floor has that always been something you’ve done as a player did that come naturally in summer league what kind of player are you in that way yeah just you know as much as I’m I’m cheering on everybody else you know um trying to lift them up and you know get get as best energy as we can cuz the better chemistry we have the better we play did you not what did you notice about the level of play Yesterday compared to even the Mac coming up Summer League just super fast super physical and uh you know the first few moments you’re kind of like your heart is racing and uh but you know you kind of settle in a little bit after a few a few possessions that’s paers play that that speed how long did it take you to be like oh man I got to be running like this and keep up mentally with the game yeah I mean I always run like that so I loved it initially when he said coach was like hey we want to play as fast as we can and I Tred to run the floor as fast as I can so I love it what kind of stuff has JP kind of told you he wants to see from you in these games whether that’s beyond the stuff that you should keep the M the main thing in terms of other stuff to add me yeah just you know knocking down open shots you know creating action you know making the next next play after um in space and making good decisions how’s your relationship with Johnny and Tristan already grown just in the two or three weeks as it’s just funny we’re all like we’re all the rookie so it’s like we kind of just been leaning on each other for help and uh and um you know helping each other out this whole process and you know everybody’s you new to the environment we’re all new together so we’re all kind of like we come together each other out any of the guys in this team been in helpful leaders for you and guiding you and oh yeah everyone all the guys who’ve been here before o walk Q uh shred everybody’s been you know giving me pointers how what to do um even even uh Johnny and Tristan you know hey you do this I see this so we’ve been helping each other out Jus Menon seeing some elements of his own game in you as a player what did you see from him yesterday what kind of stuff are you learning from him in this session just how he’s super fysical and you know I just love the way he competes on both ends like I I I admire that I’m trying to Pro Prosper to that so your parents contact you after watching this game what they have to say yeah no my mom was super excited she was she’s anxious all day all nervous so U but my mom’s everything so she was excited does she have a jersey yet oh yeah she probably does I don’t know about it or she got a t-shirt made with my name on it so made
