Timing of the podcast makes me think it may have been related to PG. Remember how there were mixed reports about JK being offered or not. It’s possible warriors were going to do it and Dray told them not to. This is purely speculation though.

I’d rather them make a trade that helps Steph and Dray right now.
The future matters but they already fucked that up. I don’t trust they have the foresight (or money) for the future to matter if they don’t win now. The organization is at a tipping point…. if they don’t win now, Lacob isn’t going to spend to win later.
