Lmao I call bullshit. If that was on the table Blazers say yes before we hang up.

Two first round picks for WHO? He ain’t worth two FRPs, nope. Noppity nope.

    Good that Pelinka backed out.

  3. Sallymumble1993

I think the Lakers were getting more than just Grant or this is BS haha

  4. Two FRPs weren’t worth whoever they were going to add in as filler anyway.

The market is messed up. Yes, Grant probably isnt worth 2 first rounders but when Mikal Bridges goes for 5 first rounders, what can you do? Lakers need to make a move, we are running out of options. It is risky to hope Portland relents, but they are cheap and don’t want to pay Grant anymore, so maybe it will pay off.

So Rob wasn’t willing to trade 2 first round picks then

That doesn’t pass the smell test.

so can someone tell me why we want Jerami Grant not familiar with his game. Going off the stats he looks like a terrible rebounder, doesn’t create a lot of turnovers on stocks, career avg 36% on 3s so lakers tax will dropped a lot.

Good on Rob but we’d have to been receiving more, maybe Rob Williams too??

Grant is overrated. 3&D my ass last 5 yrs he couldn’t even stay healthy.

I guess I caught the Jeanie virus because ain’t no fucking way Grant is worth 2 FRP. I’d rather run it back than burn assets like that

If Pelinka backed out it wasn’t on the table and this is click bait. It reads like the Blazers were willing to do it for 2 FRP and the Lakers said no. Congrats on posting a non-story.

True or not, the headline on this post contradicts what was said in the video. He says Klutch suggested Lakers were willing to move two firsts and Pelinka balked at it as he has numerous times.

At most I think one protected first and a swap has been discussed but I have a hard time believing both 29 and 31 have been put on the table for Grant at any point.

  14. This makes no actual sense unless there were more pieces moving.

FRPs isn’t worth any unproven talent. look at this year’s dry batch. unless it’s some generational talent like Wembanyama, it’s usually not worth saving

Lakers tax the heaviest in the league lmao

  17. EifertGreenLazor

It is possible Pelinka has no idea of trade value and only changed his mind because publically the trade was getting roasted.

  18. Simons better be included if I’m sending two firsts

  19. Ok-Motor9184

Yeah, pack in Zach Lavine and divide 4 first (2026, 2028, 2030, 2069) rounders from the Lakers between two teams – it’s a deal. Lakers don’t send any salary back.

    Source: Sources.

If we trade 2 firsts we better be getting Jerami Grant and Mattise Thybulle.
