@benrogers jonay is a nobody in the nba. if you didnt think they were gonna make an example of him with on consequences for nba you were not being realistic. this is about deterrence for other players in the nba.
@benrogers i dont think scottie barnes is gonna be playing tomorrow, the risk is too high. rushing him back when you saw his ankle bend at a 45 degree angle probably not the smartest thing to do. if you had an ankle sprain and a bad one, you know that doesnt heal in a week. it actually is weak for months and even gives out if you go on a small bump. and then you re-injure it and it swells up again for a week. to properly heal and not become some chronic issue with arthritis ramifications in the future, you need to stay off any strain like running and jumping for 3 months.
