The nba is probably losing viewers because no matter how good a team is y'all will say "but let's wait till the playoffs" if people make the regular season seem meaningless then why would people want to watch or care about the regular season? Give teams the credit and actually hype up the regular season and maybe people will want to watch regular season games.

It's wild to me that the Thunder don't get the same "but the playoffs!" Treatment as the Cavs. They did the exact same thing as the Cavs last year. Beat an inferior opponent in round 1 (and a much weaker on than the Cavs had to deal with given the Pelicans were missing their best player) and then lost comfortably to a top team in their division (although in the Cavs case, they lost to the best team in the league that manhandled the team that beat OKC. Oh and OKC was actually the favored team in that matchup).
They've proven nothing more than the Cavs have in the postseason, and at least the Cavs had the excuse of being injury riddled.
