Jimmy Butler Just Lost…

Jimmy Butler Just Lost…

Jimmy Butler wants out in Miami, we know this. We also know that if he is going to get traded, it will likely happen soon. Butler has been suspended for 7 games by the Heat and reportedly, that is the timeline in which they are going to try and work out a trade.

Now when Butler officially requested a trade – he said he would go anywhere… but it is becoming clear that is not the case at all.

  1. i hope this is a footnote in the NBA to stop the “disgruntled” athlete era. it was getting ridiculous how many players were “wanting out” whenever they lost a game. you see teams adjusting more to how teams are built through the draft, and that’s given executives and teams WAYYY more leverage over these “disgruntled” athletes.

  2. Jimmy is looking to rediscover his love for basketball with a nice hefty sum of USD that's all this is.

  3. why everyone's forgetting the raptors traded for kawhi knowing he might walk after that season just for them to win their first NBA crown?

  4. Playoff Butler means…. Not good during a 82 regular season game….means better in playoffs….. also he is not Called the Champ Butler…… never won a chip….. MJ was a killer during regular season, and the playoffs and NBA finals…never losing a series.

  5. The idea that he has zero leverage is f'ing absurd. He can sit out and they will lose, they'll miss the playoffs, they won't get s good pick they'll get nothing for him at all. He holds massive leverage and pretending otherwise is absurd.

  6. Bradley Beal and Zach Levine have horrendous contracts that nobody wants. The roadblock over the butler/beal trade happening isn’t just beal’s no trade clause. Nobody wants his terrible old cba contract. places like washington had to overpay players like beal to keep them. nobody wants to keep overpaying beal.

  7. I hated the Bradley Beal trade from day one. On paper we did not give up much for an all star, but the fit is bad and the contract is atrocious.

  8. If Jimmy wont participate he shouldnt get paid. The NBA needs to step in and do something about this type of behavior…

  9. I high key think twolves are the best option.

Heat get- Randle, Conley, divi, 2 2nds

Twolves get jimmy and salary filler.

It works cuz ant needs a 2nds star rn and Randle is just not cutting it. Also if jimmy walks they get off a lot of money which was the point of the kat trade. And if he stays you got a star for potato chips.

Heat get good basketball players that fit their style of play on 2year deals which isn’t too bad.

  10. What stops the Bulls from saying here’s Zach Lavine for Jimmy and a pick? Zach would fit really well in Miami as a scoring option beside Herro since Bam doesn’t know how to put a ball in a hoop and Miami might genuinely be better just by having that increase in scoring. For Chicago, they bring Jimmy back which is cool but more importantly, they get an expiring contract to free up space and a pick.

  11. The problem is who wants a 50M$ for an aging player? who can't play full season. 😅

  12. People forget that jimmy is the second best player in miami.. He got some value… And lets not forget he carried them to the finals….. I dont think you know what miami will lose if he goes…

  13. he is playing and testing to see how much he can get away with, he knows to how to play the money game, the game has ruined these players, as long as they are needed they dont care

  14. He’s going to realize NO ONE wants to pay him that money lol maybe a team with no other players that’s losing but that’s the Heat and lol even they won’t pay him ANYTHING lol

  15. Butler is not passed his prime guys he’ll show he can score whenever he want on whoever and then not score for two quarters he’s very capable BUT NOt WHAT HES WORTH WHAT HE WANTS IS NOT WORTH It

  16. What about the lakers, they are in a better position than the suns asset wise. Rui, Vincent, Vanderbilt, Christie, and wood for jimmy.

  17. I think it will be quite funny if they cannot find a trade, Jimmy continues to get suspended or simply is sent home to re find his Joy.

Then he opts out, and gets lowball offers, or nothing he likes.

Guy ain’t worth anything close to $50m a season.

  18. In the next players- Leauge agreement, the teams should add a provision that says that if a team chooses to sit a player for more than 30 games in a season then its payroll doesn’t count towards their cap limit, or 2nd apron or whatever limitations they have

  19. What do you mean? Jimmy is on his final year in his contract for 50 mil. Kuminga is asking for a max around 200 mil for 4 years. We give up Kuminga, trade him, it's deal. Simple.
