lakers have had an absolute joke of a schedule and STILL get it easy AF in January when every other team in the league, who have had harder schedules, more back to backs, more 3 games in 4 nights, more top tier opponents in a row during those stretches to make all those matchups and stretches even harder, ALL the other average to great teams still have a big ramp up in January and have brutal schedules against each other all month. Not the lakers tho ofc. Even tho they were given the Schedule to absolutely coast for the first 2.5 months (and couldn't be good still lmao), the get ANOTHER month in January to still coast and record pad while everyone else's suffering only intensifies. Then they still have an easy February! LMAO at you trying to say "woah look at the final stretch!" That is literally when good teams ARE RESTING STARS!!! When Lakers finally have most of their games against OKC, MEM, HOU, DEN etc they are gonna be resting their best players! And on top of that, when a team isn't, LAL STIL has complete tankers on the schedule during that timeframe to rest and have easy games between any difficult opponent they finally face. They aren't getting a stretch of NYK, BOS, BKN, MIL in December when BKN is still playing hard and trying to win so that its 4 legit NBA games in a row. hey are getting those 3 in a 4 game stretch where the game in the middle will have an elementary school roster on the court for BKN that is actively trying to lose at the end of the game, and no starters for LAL even have to play and get extra rest for MIL the next game, or in the BOS game they can play the starters 45 mins if they want bc they knw they don't need em to get a win they will need the next game. If that stretch was in DEC, when they never play a stretch like that or even play single one of those damn teams, they wouldn't be able to do all that resting mid stretch and would pay the price for doing it with losses, or not do it and pay the price of not getting to play those guys linger in say the BOS game, and lose there.
The lakers have the easiest most cake schedule for OCT to end of Feb, and then the NBA doubles down on this BS and puts all the games they have to play against good teams in Mar and APR, when stars are resting an teams have clinched and are even experimenting with no focus on winning…. when the NBA had 4-5 MONTHS to schedule at least some of these teams but they smash the best ones into 5 weeks LOL like this shit isn't obvious… 2 of the 3 OKC games in the last week of the season and one after the other lmao. 2 of the 3 HOU games in the last 11 games LOL. Just clown crap for the lakers advantage as always and you STILL try to cry about it or act like you aren't getting a fair shake somehow. It is unreal
