Mavericks trade rumors are still swirling around as the 2025 NBA trade deadline is less than a week away! Bogdan Bogdanovic rumors have begun to surface as NBA Insider Marc Stein reported the Atlanta Hawks are open to trading Bogdanovic, and we know Mavs GM Nico Harrison has had interest in Bogdanovic before, a Bogdanovic trade would be feasible for the Mavs to pull off, giving up Maxi Kleber plus Jaden Hardy and Dwight Powell. In other Mavs news, Kyrie Irving was not named to the 2025 NBA All-Star game, as Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City Thunder was named over him. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd will be secretly happy that Irving didn’t make it, so he can rest up for the second half of the NBA season.

I always wanted Bogdan here. But as you said. That requires another trade for a center. and if you're being honest. They have to trade for a center even if they didn't do this deal.
So if they do this deal. They have to find around at least 9 mil to get a back up big worth getting(and they are getting him as security for what they hope is a championship run).

HARD pass on Bogy. Two years ago, maybe. But what we need is a wing defender who can shoot, or a serious starter/backup center alongside Gafford. Bogdanovic doesn't fit any clear need on this roster.

Was i pulling for Irving? Yes. Was i surprised he didn't make it, No. As was last year Luka didn't get MVP votes due to Wins, which is BS. He was left off by the coaches vote. Past choices are remembered. Now Irving simply go prove them wrong.
