One team specifically has been The Philadelphia 76ers, for their center Guerschon Yabusele. With the 76ers not performing up to task this year, many teams expect them to be sellers at the deadline. I'm on board with the Philly big trade as it would be even dollars. If we don't do that, we need to stand PAT. Next year the cap goes up a little from 188.9 to 207.8, a difference of 18.9 million. That's a number we can maneuver with. We've built some additional chemistry, we're getting it together and next year should begin the final legs of our dynasty. I have the highest hopes with us winning a chip next year, and the two years following. With that number, we could actually keep Mitch this year if he returns, see where he is, and be prepared to do the trades in the offseason because 18.9 plus mitch's salary is a substantial amount for a Needed piece. If mitch comes back strong, we could still get a nice piece at 18.9 plus simms salary so we need to take our time and be wise….

Knicks are in tough spot. Interesting rooks but they’re still a year out. MitchRob’s ankle is a mystery. And bench C and SF help is needed to compete in playoffs. If I’m Leon, I’d trade Robinson, Sims, Pacome for Jonas and Bey, expecting Bey to return by March.
Knicks should’ve signed him from out of the Olympics, they had his rights, and he would’ve been everything we could’ve asked for until Mitch got healthy. We had to sign OG to that 40 per year contract.

Boucher could be signed after this season, but cannot be traded for. I would do the following:
1. Sims for Javonte Green on Pelicans
2. Mitch for Jonas AND Champagnie on Wizards. Give them whatever 2nd rounders they want for both guys. So essentially, we lose nothing and gain 3 pieces. Thibs can then test Green versus Champagnie for backup SF. Shamet can sit behind McBride and Jonas gets 20-25 a night.
I don’t know why the Knicks are not trying to build from within. They have Okeke, TJ and McCullar on the G-League. Mitch is coming back. Knicks have all the pieces in-house. They doing extra right now.
