so we have 6 with russ playoff playable players, maybe 10 playable players for regular season… Even if we go against okc we will be a lot more tired, we cant beat teams in 5 like we used to. We dont have enough to compete this year, and that is alarming. I am glad however that booth did not send any more picks away tho, and hope for a change in his spot. Just hopefully he wont trade our 2031 first for 2025 1st that ends up at no 30 and 2 seconds like he used to do

Everybody paying too much for some bullshit right now. This isn’t a throwaway season, but if we need to make changes we need to make them this coming summer when all of our biggest contracts are tradeable.

I think the main problem isn't as much with who the Nuggets have let go, but rather who they have signed. Dario and Zeke are holding a LOT of salary and it makes it really hard to make any moves.
Also Calvin isn't the sole decision maker, the guys that pay the bills have a lot to say about it. There was obviously a decision made to roll with the youngsters and we have to make the most of it.

Calvin Booth is not a good GM … I was very arrogant feeling that losing Timmy C. wouldn't be a big deal. He is failing the best player in the world, not maximizing this window.

The only move I wish they would make is getting Malone to use his assets more going into the playoffs. They will get better. We have a lot of untapped potential.

I will say I think people were a little unfair on Matt in this episode. I love Swipa's content and I watch it whenever I can, but hindsight is 20/20. Matt was taking a more nuanced approach, that's ok.

Im actually happy no trade was made. Any good trade would involve Porter. Trading him wotld be a massive mistake, I saw zero candidates that vould replace Porter. However, some bench trades would be fine if the new players had a real effect on the team. Otherwise what Denver can afford and what is available does not look good.

Changing Salary Cap has been the issue. Im ok standing pat, Malone needs to give a longer leash to Zeke because he can play if he can get 5 blocks in a game off the bench. Im ok with Saric, he was insurance for Jokic.
I like DJ, he is a great vet for the young guys, but that was a waste of a roster spot. Pickett and Tyson were gambles, but they uave to play to learn and Pickett got better in the G League.
Wait till the summer and trade MPJ or Murray when teams are trying to sell tickets, then get some shooters who Jokic can pass to for spacing.
