they can't match the DN without Rob. DA and DC can't D the way Joker plays. Rob is the only 5 with quick legs they've got. but he is injured , and they are sitting him 🙄
No defense, that game. because we dont have a healthy center with a little quicker legs.
The good things and there aren't a lot- Good DC offensive game, looked legit. Avdija played well looked almost healthy and could've had more then 10 assists if they made 2 open layups under the rim. Beneton looked good of the bench.
Probably should have waited til they started playing some road games before declaring them a good team.

I'm glad we didn't make any changes at the deadline. Keeping Rob to bubble wrap him for next years run BRILLIANT~. Keeping Grant to mentor Tou and Turbo BRILLIANT. Starting the 6'1 165lb basketball terrorist simons 7 years later BRILLIANT. Chauncy word salads BRILLIANT. Sharpe looks disinterested which is new….I honestly think his patience with the front offfice is on life support. Next year will be year 4 of the Sharpe experience….off the bench….with no real coaching….to which I say BRILLIANT.
Banton makes me upset because he has the physical tools to be so much more than just a ball stopper. If he wasn’t so focused on trying to get 20 every night he’d be a lot more valuable
Yes good game by DC. Banton also, 22 pts, 6 assists in 28 minutes, 43% from 3. 2 blocks , a steal, got to line 9 times against a tough defensive team, had best +/- for Portland. (For a guy who never knows if he'll get any minutes , or at what position he's filling in for, I'd say that's a pretty good game). He plays with heart no matter the score, why reluctant to give him props?
The Nuggets didn't even have to look at the rim on their shots in this one. Spinning flip shot in the air. Sure. Just chuck the ball at the basket after a foul. Why not.
Denver likes to target players and they did a great job at punishing the Blazer's achilles heel. Ant and Sharpe. Their defense is just atrocious. Christian Braun beat them both like a rented mule.
What is up with Scoots usage? Why does it look like Anfernee is literally playing keep away with the ball from him.
