Here’s a classic brownie recipe that’s simple and delicious!
Ingredients: 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Instructions: Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt the butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Mix the wet ingredients: Stir the sugar into the melted butter. Then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and stir until combined.
Add the dry ingredients: Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until fully combined. The batter should be thick.
Bake: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
Feel free to add mix-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or swirl in some peanut butter for extra flavor!
