Old players win a game, young players win a championship.
Thinking that JK has half the impact of Butler is the problem with NBA fans. Butler is not only a 20ppg scorer. He’s a game manipulator. There aren’t many guys like that in the nba. His stats are whatever he thinks he needs to win on a given night, his value is felt in the win column not in counting stats.
They will keep him as an X factor as well as TJD

They will need JK in a 7 game stretch. Kerr has to find a way to fit him in. The big 3 are old, they will need as much help as possible.

Actually him not playing jk makes a lot of sense why try to inject him back into the rotation if 1 it's not clicking and 2 if the teams chemistry is actually rolling. We have been asking him to do this in a ton of situations. In the 7 game series ya can get him off the bench like curry and like klay

Also I think they just haven't worked how to inject jk instead of it's jk making us worse. If butler+dray+steph+ jk can get a bit longer to play the match ups would be crazy. They just sub mosses or buddy and run a more driver slashing motion offense instead of off ball shooting with jk

I think Kerr is playing possum. I think JK will be heavily involved in the series against Houston. I think Kuminga is still dealing with his injury, and Kerr wanted to give him more time to heal. If Kuminga doesn't play much in this playoff series, GW will not sign him in the offseason. Don't get it twisted, Kuminga will have many teams that want him in the off season. If GW won't sign him, that will be so stupid of a move.
But in the end Jason Tatum never played in the Olympics…..Kerr needs his head checked. I hope, if JK doesn't play they get bounced in 5.
Best case scenario would be for Kuminga to play big minutes, be successful and make Thomson guard him and not Steph. On the other end, hope Steph can run Thompson into the ground. Let's see how effective Thompson can be chasing Steph all over the court for 6-7 games. I love Thompson personally. He has many DPOY's in his future. I dame sure wish the Dubs could've have somehow stuck it up last year and picked him.

Great deep dive and observations on this video. I know rotations can be a complicated thing for Kerr. To put things in a simple perspective why cant he come up with a rotation that bridges non Steph minutes with JK and Jimmy, and non-Jimmy minutes with Steph and JK? If the latter has worked before, why isn’t he putting that lineup now?
I know Buddy plays a different role, but JK is a better scorer than Buddy will ever be so Buddy getting no DNPs is kinda crazy.
If Kuminga doesn’t get meaningful minutes to play the Warriors ain’t making it out the 1st round of the playoffs. It’s wishful thinking that if they get bounced early out of the playoffs that’ll resign Kuminga and trade Butler, they’ll more than likely let Kuminga walk eat the 2years of the vets and rebuild after that because the Warriors won’t be title contender team not having cap flexibility or the young talent anymore.
If kerr is smart he will give post alot of minutes he showed alot in the game against the grizz. Hes 7ft and can stretch the floor him on the floor keeps houstons bigs out of the paint and opens up the 3 if they choose to collapse on drives
