Golden State Warriors Vs. Houston Rockets FULL Game 2025 | NBA TODAY

time for a much quicker decision in board domination. Houston is the best rebounding team what you do is you wear down you take your spirits away from the Golden State front line. Well, Houston missed a chance to win one without Butler. Butler is back and now they’ll have to try to square this season up this series up at two a piece with Butler back in the Warriors starting lineup. First shot of the game, the Flamingo for Shinon. Front rim back rim and in. The reason you post Alp there is it’s an impossible spot to double team and Chimong gets to face up and attack Draymond Green. Golden State 12-1 at home against the Rockets all time in the playoffs and they’ve won five straight home games against the Rockets and they lead Draymond Green really wide open and he makes the three and then talks some trash to the Rockets bench as he works the other way. Interesting. You get a zone for the first possession, but I guarantee you Draymond can have all those shots he wants, but nonetheless, you still want to go and close out. He shot 32 and 12% from three in the regular season turnover for a man Thompson who has been very shaky in his first playoff run. He’s got to be better. I know he’s just experiencing this for the first time, but the Rockets need more from him. They need need more from Fred Vanble. Fred had a great first quarter in game three. But not complete game. And that’s now two in a row for Draymond Green. Again, you got to respect his shot, but you do not need to overreact. And another turnover. Heel will spot up. That would have blown the roof off this place early on. It would have. And understand you want to calm down and get good shots to start this game. Open three wide open for Shenon. He misses. And Jimmy Butler with the rebound. Went down early in that game at Houston in game two with the pelvic contusion. Missed game three. He’s back here tonight. Golden State really looking to attack Alp in one-on-one situations. And one thing with Butler on the floor and then playing with him as opposed without him. He’s a he’s probably their biggest ball stopper that they have in this starting line. He will iso. He will go oneonone. But he’s a great player nonetheless. Yeah, he’s a guy that you really have to work to keep him off the foul line. Contested shot around and out for Jaylen Green. Houston must stay with the ball movement and running their offense. Then those same shots are going to be there. So it’s Draymond Green six Houston Rockets two. Pajki Deield the ball fake the shot off the side of the backboard. He was very very good for them off the bench in game three. made five threes and had 17 points. He and Gary Payton the second combined for 33 off their bench in game three. The only thing you know is that role players play better at home versus on the road. A lot of physicality here. Shen working on Draymond Green misses the scoop. Green with the clear. He’ll come into the front court. He’ll direct traffic. He’ll find Pensky. The corner three is good. They’ve made three shots from that corner to start the game right now for Houston. I like that attack from Shenon. Just have to finish a little bit stronger and up and over Draymond. And then he’ll pick the pocket of Green to Penski and he will miss. But there was a foul. Jaylen Green turned it over. Didn’t deny the dunk for Penski, but the Rockets are out of sorts. Just two points on the board already. Three turnovers and the crowd is frothy. These are the moments where Fred Van Vleet needs to go get the ball, calm things down, and get a great possession. Whether it’s a jumper for him or Shingun on the roll, and when you get Shingun in pick and roll situations, it’s hard to key in and target him. The only time the Rockets franchise has won a playoff road game against the Warriors franchise was a 9592 win in game four of the 2018 Western Conference Finals. This isn’t quote unquote a must-win for the Rockets because their season will continue even if they lose here tonight. But at least as far as I’m concerned, they got to get this game. You do not want to go back under a 3-1 hole. Forcing his way into the Houston huddle and the chippiness started and I can tell you from being a player, you you just got to mix it up. Ain’t no way he gets to do that. You lock arms and he don’t get in there. So, Pachki at the line after the foul on Jaylen Green. This is the Warriors best start in this series. The Rockets have been the the faster starting team in the first three games of the series, but obviously a 180 difference here in game [Applause] four. And it’s now an 11-2 game in favor of Golden State. And uh has Steph Curry even touched the basketball? The turnovers just have already killed this team. Three of them early make it four. And there goes Buddy Heel. Got to go get the ball. Awful start for the Rockets. Five. No changes for the Rockets personnel. [Music] Bad news, they’re down 11 early. Good news is there’s a lot of basketball left, but at this rate, it’ll get late early. The Rockets got to get their act together. Jenon on Butler. A couple of moves short, gets his own miss, gets swarmed, plays it to Brooks, he misses, gets it back and scores. There you go. And Craig, it wasn’t perfect, but you like the attack from Shenon. The Rockets were just 19 to 48 in the paint in game three. They’ve got to be better in the paint here tonight and moving forward in the series. And there was contact there. Should have been an and one. They’re really trying to attack Shenon on the defensive end. Thompson squares up. He misses those shots in the mid paint area. They’ve been there the entire time all season long against go against against Golden State. They’ve been there already in this series. They will be there tonight. The Rockets have to make more of those shots. They did not make many of them in game three. That one ricochets off to a man Thompson. And here’s the thing. You want to try to bring some tempo into this game if you’re Houston. Getting to the rim against Golden State’s tough mid paint area. They will concede as Brooks hits his second basket. Good to see Dylan Brooks get going with two back-to- back baskets. But when you’re attacking Golden Bone State, they’re undersized. So, you have to play through it their physicality. They hit you low. It’s not high. So, you got to play through that contact. Cherries a shot it well. He’s been the Rocket’s third leading scoreer in this series. There’s Curry driving kick. Draymond Green too strong that time. Come back to earth. You can live with those shots. Here’s the man Thompson had. Dylan Brooks decides to take it himself. got fouled and hit the shot. At first I was like, “What are you doing?” And then I’ll take it and one for a man Thompson. Well, you know what? Nobody stopped the basketball. So, if you’re a Ben Thompson, he’s got to be a oneman record crew getting downhill. And that classic game three, as I mentioned already, seven of nine, 16 points. Thompson on Curry. Curry to Penski. Great job there, Aid Thompson. Blake hitting Curry. Now, Pensky in the lane. The pull out in bounces off. Clear for a man Thompson. Rockets look a lot better since that timeout. They’ve calmed down. Jaylen Green to Aman Thompson mid paint score. That will be there all night long. You got to make those shots if you’re Houston. And post, excuse me, men Thompson may not be a three-point shooter right now, but in the mid-range, he’s got unbelievable touch. So, that’s seven straight for the Rockets and a deflection, but a foul. Somebody held Gary Payton the second. It’s going to be Amen Thompson. And that’s what Houston really worked on is those switches where you get underneath and good to see Steven Adams. He’s a little bit under the weather here, but nonetheless coming out and ready to play and he’s been the he’s been you can argue he’s been the best rocket so far uh in this in his role. He’s been an absolute rock. T’s also come in. Pensky circles around the top of the key. Back to Curry. There’s the close out, the skip, the swing post. No. The Jetski, no. Gets it back again. Comes back out to Curry. Curry drives the lane and he flips it off the glass and in. I know he scores there, but you run him off the three-point line. You’re going to have to live with those shots from Curry. Jaylen Green attacking, stepping through, forcing one up, got fouled. He’ll get two free throws. Can’t tell you how vital that that is for him to get that call and to grow in some type of confidence because he’s he’s still struggling from that last game. Foul is on Gary Payton the second. Jaylen Green to the line. Free throw shooting or the lack thereof really hurt the Rockets in game three. Just 14 of 24 at the line. And so they’ll be attempting their second free throw. Houston has the better team. They’re the two seed for a reason, but they don’t have the experience. So if they can play to their strengths, they will be successful in this series. Got to make your furry free throws. He made the second. They’re two for three. Got to stay up. Curry can’t get the shot off. Good defense by Jaylen Green. Ski Santos is in. They swing it down low on the block for Draymond Green. working on Dylan Brooks into post and it’s blocked by Steven Adams. Picked up by Green. Got it off in time and then Santos knocked out of bounds. Last touch by Steven Adams. The Warriors had more second chance points in game three than the Rockets did. Rebounds. Santos working baseline into post. He misses at the cup, but a whistle and a foul on Jaylen Green. And so their rookie will go to the free throw line leading the Warriors are now by six. They were up by 12 thanks to all those early turnovers for the Rockets. Since that timeout, the Rockets have not turned the ball over again. They have responded. They have played a lot better ever since. There’s a lot of basketball left. Just got to limit the mistakes and execute at the offensive end of the floor if you’re used to it. And posts start the other night in game three. Just one of seven from the field, but he is a guy who can spread the floor. Well, his size against Shenon and then Thompson has been really vital inside. So, man Thompson already taken four early shots. Pull back for Curry and he misses everything. Here, here’s the thing. When a man Thompson is doing what he should do, Curry struggles to score one-on-one against him and you force him to have to run off screens and now it’s team defense that you lean on. Wow. Nearly almost an overback violation there. Well, Curry has kind of been of a slow starter in this series and then he’s kind of warmed into things again. He’s leading all scorers in this series, averaging 29. Jaylen Green makes the three. Really, really good to see the ball go through the basket for Jaylen Green. And again, he’s so talented. It’s nothing but confidence for Jaylen Craig. Four points, a rebound, and an assist for him, and a timeout for Steve Kerr and Golden State. Again, the Rockets were down a dozen and think are here in the first place. Jabari Smith Jr.’s come in. He’s had a fantastic series. He has been. His versatility has been a real asset, but even more so his outside shooting, but Curry just lost them, but he misfired there and nobody put a body on post. Interesting. You’re seeing double beg. You got Post and Looney in and Post getting a lot of minutes to try to match the physicality of Houston on the boards. Thompson working on Looney stepping underneath. Got fouled. [Applause] Really fortunate there. Thompson was running out of space and I think he’s done that a lot in this series. Again, you got to keep in mind that getting to the rim against Golden State is as difficult to do against any team in the league. But he did draw the foul. He will go to the free throw line. And now a word from Laram injury lawyers. Rockets second miss free throw. Shenon back in. Rockets only shooting 63ish% now. 64ish% now at the foul line in this series. They were the worst free throw shooting team in the league in the regular season and was about 10 percentage points better than what they shot at the line in this series. That’s the difference. The Rockets have gotten to the free throw line more times than Golden State has in this series, which was the complete opposite in the regular season. They just got to take advantage of the opportunities. Houston’s going zone here with Curry on the floor. You really have to communicate and find him. [Applause] You see the double big lineup out there. Rooty’s checked in. Now to Butler on that left baseline. Has to shoot it and scores. That’s what Jimmy Butler brings. Another guy who can create his own shots outside of Curry. Thompson got it back. Goes to Jabari. Tough shot of three. And it is in as he continues his hot shooting in the playoffs. You love that I’m in, excuse me, that Jabari hasn’t hesitated when the ball comes his way. That is what he’s really improved upon. Six of 10 from the three-point line for Jabari Smith in this series. Healed. No. And Shinun pushes off. right now. Golden State’s been really good on the boards. That’s something that’s inexcusable, especially against this lineup. Now, they are Golden State, to their credit, they are a very good rebounding team. They were top 10 in the league in rebounding percentage this past year. Another look at Jabari’s stroke from beyond the arc. So, them rebounding the ball is not necessarily something that is surprising. They were seventh in rebounding percentage, fourth in offensive rebounding percentage. They were both very good in both areas in the regular season, but the Rockets have to be better than them in both categories here in this series. They just have to because that’s something they need to do to be successful. Yeah, you’re right, Craig. You you play to your strengths and rebounding this Houston strength, especially the double big lineup and see if that can get going inside. And nonetheless, it’s out there to really showcase what Alfred Shenon can do offensively. So, Golden State six of six now at the line early on. [Applause] You right now you see Golden State getting into a 13-1 zone and they’re the only team in the NBA that I’ve seen do that at least against Houston this season. Curry is checked out as Shenon at the elbow. Adams in the middle of that zone. Back to Jabari. Slips by heel and shoots over Pensky. He has been so good. He’s the guy that gets lost in the double big lineup. You end up with the small on them and he’s been incredibly effective just shooting over guys. Quality minutes again for Jabari. Two shots, two makes. It’s a five-point game again. Draymond Green, this time from the wing. And Jabari with the rebound. That’s why Draymond hits the first two threes. You don’t react. You have to contest, but you don’t need to overreact. Right back to Shinon. Sets the pick for Van Lee. Back to Alp from a free throw line and luckily the ball ricochets right back to him inside to Tar Een. Loops it back to Shinon from 14. Short again and Moody saves it back to Draymond Green. You got to make those shots if you’re shining. You have to make those shots. Those open shots are money for him and he can’t hesitate thinking about the second one. Butler to Moody had it knocked out of his hand. Picked up by Heel behind the back but Jensky works baseline. Nobody stops the basketball there again without Curry on the floor. You’ve got to go there. One thing Golden State’s doing, they’re going 131. Why? Because when Houston sees zone, they like to get Shenon right in the middle. And with Draymond there, you really take that away. And Fred beats the zone with a three. The Rockets have seen a ton of zone this year, but not 131. No, but you you take away the middle and that’s where Houston really likes to attack the two three. Well, this is as close as the Rockets have been since the game started. Money from Butler. Right now, what Steve Curry is doing, he’s saying, “I got to lead. This is a moment where I can rest Curry.” So, for Houston, you want to see if you can take advantage. Fred had 17 in game three, but most of that came in the first. And that’s going to be a foul, a turnover. You can see this game is officiated much tighter than what we’ve seen in game one and game two. Brooks and Thompson coming in for defensive reasons. See Buddy Hill gets connected there and a little bit of a push but more of a flop that I see there. Didn’t look like that push was that much. An interesting eate going to his speed lineup. You got Jabari at the five. This is to defend more than anything else. Van Vleet on Pensky. Now the switch by Brooks. Gave him a chuck. They didn’t call that. Now to Draymond Green trying to throw it back up. Tar and E saved it ahead to Amen. Thompson ahead of the pack and he slams it down. It is now just a twopoint game, believe it or not, after the Rockets were just lost in the first handful of minutes tonight. And that’s exactly what you want to see with this small lineup. And Mince Thompson can attack the paint. Levki stopped. Brooks with the pick and that’ll do it. What a close by. A 20. Curry will bring it across. Houston back into zone. And you see the double big still on the floor. Post. Good. Very good three-point shooter. The the one thing you don’t want to do is overreact. And you have to contest those guys. Make no mistake, but it’s not Curry getting a shot. Golden State’s already gotten up 16 threes. That was their fifth make. Jabari to Adams. Uh-oh. Shun in on post. Draws a crowd. The swing. Brooks an open look. Excellent basketball. Shingun got a piece in the paint and you see his skill set able to move the ball and get the hockey assist to Dylan Brooks. Seven early points for Dylan Brooks. The Rockets four of six from the three-point line to start now with this zone in double big. You got to communicate Curry. Look at Houston really pointing at wherever he goes. He’s on the back line now. Healed by Smith. Rockets can tie it with a two. Get their first lead since it was two nothing. with the three. Notice you saw Stephen Adams chase all the way from the basket to find Curry. Shenon. No. Adams with the offensive rebound. Back to Brooks in the corner over Pope. And Jimmy Butler got decked. It’s going to be a foul on Steven Adams. I’m telling you, the officials have really looked to clean this game up. Calling things a [Applause] Curry. Houston still in the zone. Standing up on Curry. Long swing to post. Working on Brooks. The heel now inside of five is the possession for the Warriors. Back to post. Post. Nothing but air. One thing you’re seeing the adjustment up to 23. They’re trying to run Curry on the baseline. Houston’s running with Curry on the baseline. It almost has turned into a matchup zone. Masterful there from coach Eay Udoka. You would think against a Steph Curry team. You’d never play zone, but Houston has been able to do it. That could be a real key going down the stretch. And it’s rare that Golden State with the possession winding down has the ball in the hands of a rookie, but Rockets will live with it. And they’ll live with that as they’ve retaken the lead after they were down by 12 early. It’s 3231 Houston. Again, it’s not Curry. It’s not Curry. That’s the game plan. And hats off to Houston right now for not overreacting to Golden State making shots. Then late two for two. He’s made a couple of threes. Rockets now with the lead again. They struck first and then we’re down by 12. Here’s a little turn around for Dylan. Brooks in and out. Pass tips it. No. Picked up by Dylan into the lane. He leans in and he got fouled. He’ll go to the free throw line here with 9 to9 to play in the first half. Craig, that’s what you do with Justin. Rockets, we’ve talked about this already in this series. This has been a very mentally tough group and all of that s sort of started to become reality in training camp prior to the start of last season and Eay’s first goound here. really start started to see it on the floor with the players midway through last season and they played that way this entire year as Dylan Brooks makes both free throws with the timeout in between. Rockets now have their biggest lead at three. Still seeing the double big lineup with zone and again giving extra attention to Curry. They let Post get this one off and he air mails it. You you you got to live with anybody else not named Curry and they’ve been good but you don’t overreact and I thought Houston really overreacted in game three. Craig off the pick Van Vleet into the lane puts on the brace comes out to Smith. Smith on Curry backs him down turns around shoots and misses it and Adams couldn’t keep it alive. Scooped up by Curry. Comes into the front court draws Jabari Smith Jr. as the defensive assignment. crosses him over, drives the lane, and then Brooks got a piece of the ball. And they’re also going to say it went out of bounds off of Curry. That’s game plan discipline we talked about. Make him drive the basketball. And Curry’s going to challenge this right now. I think they’re looking for approximate foul as Dylan Brooks did in this series, which is just under 93%. and he shot just over 93% at the line in the regular season, which was tops in the league. He’s the best free throw shooter in the history of the sport at 91%. By the way, if you’re wondering, before these free throws for Curry, the double big is a plus five. Well, they’ve been really good. And what Stephen Adams and Shingun do is they slow the game down. And a lot in game three, you saw those two spell each other instead of playing with each other. So, we’ll see how it plays out. But again, spectacular minutes from Steven Adams. He was the only guy that was in the positive in that game three. [Applause] He makes them both. Curry’s averaged 34 a game in their wins, just 20 in their loss. And right now he’s sitting on four. Uh-oh. Pajki. You may want to have a men Thompson bring the ball up because they’re not pressuring him, which means he should be able to just initiate simple entry passes. defended Ryan. Straight up and down just like you draw it up on the textbook. Good contestant booty by Adams. Now to Brooks on Curry. Curry blanketing him. Now to Thompson. Curry picks him up on the switch. Curry not the best defender, but he’s a smart defender and he’s putting on a lot of strength. Green too strong. Warriors get the lead back. They do not. And that went off of Jabari Smith Jr. Unfortunately, Golden State will have the ball at a fresh 14. Houston extremely fortunate there. That shot goes off the back rim, but you have to pick him up as soon as he gets over half court. And Curry’s starting to press. He wants points, you know, so keep forcing those tough twos. He’s over for three from three. Post up top and he does give Golden State the lead again. couldn’t post his second triple. He already has 10 points. He and Penski are their leading scorers. Well, that’s a a recipe I don’t want to say for success, but it’s going to give you a shot. You got to make sure they don’t get both. They don’t get Curry and the role players rolling. Thompson to Brooks in the lane. Good. You could you could hang close on that one. And how good is Dylan Brooks been if he doesn’t have the three getting in the lane and using his shoulders to get a shot off. Dylan now with 11 leading all scorers in the game as Curry gets fouled. Uh-oh, here we go to pushing and shoving. Some more pushing and shoving. Got to be careful. Is that a Thompson’s on the floor? You got guys crowding right over him. [Applause] on the nose to play in the first half. Now the officials will have a pow-wow. Looked like a bunch of nothing, honestly. But Dylan Brooks went to grab the ball from Curry. Curry didn’t for sure one of my guys. Okay. They’re one of my hund you, too, big fella. You’re rolling in there. Everybody always I fully believe that presence is felt. Guys back away. They do. They do after after a while when you see ain’t no one jumping in between you, you got to, you know, throw that white flag and Draymond Green and Fred Van leader jawing and it’s Moses Moody having to step in between the two. Well, Draymond’s been throwing elbows, okay, all game. We We’ve seen about four or five of them for God’s sake. You want to win in the NBA, you got to make free throws. One for three for Green. The Rockets five of eight as a team. Fred Fred’s got to step to the line in that situation. With all due respect for Jaylen Green, Fred is a world champion. He’s the leader. Go shoot the free throw, Fred. We know you want to get Jaylen going. He’s got to shoot those free throws in that situation. I mean, with no disrespect to him, a T on Curry, a T on Draymond Green, a T on Dylan Brooks play ball. Game tied at 36. [Applause] And and Craig, keep in mind, these chippy moments have favored Houston through the season. And they’re a team that responds and they call that on Amand Thompson, his second. Yeah, they’re they’re going to call this much tighter as you’ve seen. Play by Aman Thompson stepped in the passing lane and took it away. Again, this this two-3 has almost been a matchup two-3 and you see Curry off the floor. Fred Van Fleet off a screen, draws another one. Three shots, three banks, all threes, which again, you talk about Houston responding to the chippy play. That is what Houston has been this season. And the Rockets nearly came away with another one. Pachenski to post back up top to Penski to Butler into post and two more for him. He’s got 12. I really like Clinton Post. I I think they’ve got the center of their future here. They’re going to invest in that kid. Short on that try, especially for a guy who was taken with a 52nd pick in the draft. He’s played very well. He can shoot. He’s got great size and he fits what Kerr wants. Moody open. Moody from the corner. State back out in front. Again, you don’t want to overreact. And again, you see minutes without Curry. And this is what Jimmy Butler where he’s normally taking advantage. Shenon got fouled and then a little bit of extra. If if Craig, if they make that call on Draymond Green, he will foul out this series. Houston shot just seven of 18 in game three here on Sunday Thompson to Shenon go on Draymond again and a shot put bounces in. Remember he made the first shot of the game missed six straight before that made. Nonetheless he he was expecting the contact from Draymond and then he played through it. Excellent job from Alpine. Game is tied at 41. Another shot. Post misses that. The Rockets have two guys leaking out. Touchdown pass. And Jaylen Green is able to catch and score. But again, you play your percentages. You are going to contest late on those threes from anybody not named Curry. You can play your normal defense. And Curry had enough. He sees that Curry’s got to get back on the floor. Push tempo if you’re the Rockets whenever you can. Pachetski comes back out to Moody. And a reaching foul that Thompson man’s got to move his feet there and again this game they are calling it much tighter. So nine points three dime for Fred Van Bleetki gets the hand off of Moody. Gary Payton second is out there in the middle of the lane. Moody misses rebound. Oh, they’re going to call a shot clock violation where the Rockets were running the other way. That’s a great idea. And stop the transition opportunity. One thing you love and you didn’t hear them. Looks like Eay wants to see some wedge action here for Shenon. And again, attack Draymond. He’s kind of gotten himself rolling the last two possessions. They will not allow Buddy Heel to come in just yet. [Applause] [Music] Shenun on Green. [Applause] He’s got a straight arm. That’s a foul in a two- hand push. Thank you. If they make that, he ain’t going to play this game. He keeps defending like that. Craig, that’s number two on Draymond Green. Shenon to the foul line for the first time in game four. And as we await these free throws, let’s get to this message from Reliance. [Applause] So he makes the first heeled in Moody out. He’ll got to start tonight. [Applause] Kerr understands he’s got to cast the rope, but he’s got guys he trusts and guys he doesn’t trust. So he’s going with different starting lineups to try to find something that works. So no Kaminga in this game so far. We’ve seen the last couple of games with the Butler injury and Shenon gives the Rockets their biggest lead of the game. He was one for six at the line in game three. Two for two here in game four. So hopefully that will give him some confidence. Curry and he scoops and scores. Very easy that time for Steph Curry. And he’s so great that those are the shots that you do give him in Christian. go contest. And that one rolls off. Those shots again are ones that are going to be open for him. Then he’s got to make Curry the ball fake. The reset the make from three. His first triple of game four is so good. Those are the shots you cannot give. You got to be up and you got to be ready. And when he one thing he does is he blasts off those pick and rolls and tries to attack switches. You got Buddy Hill on Chingon. But he’s fronting him. They can’t get him the ball just yet. In there somehow. Yeah, Rockets very slow switching sides. Very slow switching sides of the floor. Off the glass. How about the kiss for Jaylen Creed right here. You got to locate Curry. He’s trying to get going. Penski. Draymond Green out front. E on him. Poking away. And then Draymond Green trying to get it back. picked up the foul and then now he grabs a jersey of Tar P with the chub and more people have to be separated. Yeah, Craig, he’s kind of technical already. He gets another one. Here’s the issue with Draymond. They don’t kick him out. It’s never the first team. It’s always the intelligent he knows what he’s doing or or at times as we apparently his arms and legs just tend to just sort of There’s a there’s a dive and well that’s Steven Adams. He’s gotten Steven’s lower extremities before too. So he knows and then the jersey I mean there’s like five plays that you got to kick him out now. Green in his career apparently he’s got no control over his extremities and of course they get the free throw by Curry because there was the technical foul on Tar E. Coming up on the Toyota halftime report with Kevin and Calvin. They’re going to talk about the Rockets weathering their early storm with those early turnovers and being down by 12 early. Jabari again a spark off the Rockets bench. Now it’s going to be Tar’s turn at the line because of the flagrant on Draymond. So he answers Curry and now he’s got another. Rockets by one. I talked earlier about Jabari being fearless. Tari is fearless. Misses the second and the Rockets are going to have the ball. 244 to play in what is increasingly becoming a very chippy game and series. They know they’re not the better team, so you got to pull those antics to try to hang in. But Houston’s got to make sure they keep on responding. [Music] Catch and drive them right now. You’re going to get a foul called back to Shenun on Pajki to Jaylen Green from [Music] 15 and the ball poke to Van Fleet and they’re going to call a foul on Tari E for fouling Jimmy Butler. Well, can you call a foul on Pajinski? You cannot guard a player with two elbows shoving him in the back as he dribbles. That should be an easy one. Right back at the line. Curry with his first personal. [Applause] Rockets biggest lead’s been four. They were down by 12. They led two nothing and then just continued to turn the ball over and over and over again. It was a 16 to4 game in favor of Golden State. Rockets ended the first quarter on a 22 to2 run. Got the lead back in the second quarter again. Built it to as many as four. And here we are with just over two minutes to play in a second quarter that has taken an eternity. So Tory makes them both. Butler and Brooks get tied up momentarily. Three-point Houston [Applause] lead. But again, Houston has reacted to the chippy play. Stay down. Don’t foul him. See Fred in the face guard up top with Curry. And that’s a tough shot for Pipski over Javari. You’re going to roll the dice with those shots. Great shot there from Poinski. Poetski’s been good. He’s got 13. Three of four from the three-point line. Game tied at 50. Van Bleed off the pick, comes up, firing, hits again. That’s his fourth three of the half. And you saw that screen from Shenon really softened up Golden State defensively. No Draymond on the floor. Curry behind the back. off the handle. Picked up by Een comes into the front guard and had no idea where he was going with the ball. And then Brooks may have gotten away with a foul, knocking down Payton. 80 seconds to play in the half. Real key right here, you got to play through the whistle. Show your hands to the officials that you are not fouling and know that it is not going to be perfect. You’re going to be in some wild situations. With the steel, one-on-one with Butler and he lays it up and in. Stealing score for Shenon. Rockets by five, their biggest lead. Just talked about it, Craig. Play through the whistle. Do not expect anything. Picked up on the switch by Van Blade. Now to Butler. Butler back from the rear end bruise. He’s got four points now to Curry into the lane. Put him on the brakes. Gets sworn. He turns it over again. Rockets have three guys ahead of the pack. There goes Dylan Cooks. fouled by Jimmy Butler from behind. Looked like a good foul there from Jimmy Butler. That’s that’s a playoff foul. Now, the way that things have been going, the officials may want to go look at that. But nonetheless, you can frustrate Curry. And that’s what you’re starting to see. Force him to the rim, build a crowd, and you can help. See that? There’s the wall. See the high hands. And let’s see Jimmy Butler here. Does he make a play on the ball? I I I do believe he he does. I think it’s just a good playoff foul. But the follow through at the end, that left hand, I think they should have looked at is dangerous. The way that Brooks ends up going down. Well, they aren’t. And Brooks misses the free throw. Well, I believe that was like three straight turnovers for Golden State again. They have make it six. You got to make your free throws. Get to the line. Take a deep breath and focus all 10 of 16 at the line for the Rockets. Another turnover. Four of them in a row. Finish here. Got to finish here. Comes back out. Luckily, there were multiple Rockets running with him as that pass to E on the mark. And Shon there cleaned it up. Dunked it down. And the Rockets are up seven. Look at Van Vleet. He’s in the face guard against Curry right now. Rockets now a plus 10 in terms of points off of turnovers. Another category they have to win. Paji with Shenun defending on the switch. Shoots for three. short. Guess what? It’s Matt Curry. You’re going to live. Seven straight gets underway. Some pushing and shoving a little bit between Pensky and Green. Interesting. Fred Van Vleet is starting off on Trayvon Green. Golden State running with the same lineup that they began the game with as is the case for the Rockets. Heel, nice crossover. Well, you want to force Buddy Hill to dribble, but make him go to his right hand. Jimmy Punk doesn’t want him to dribble. No, he he does not. Buddy seems to not be listening. All right, Shenu four for 11 in the first half. He’s got 10 points and Oh, he just smoked the layup. [Applause] healed to Butler and banks it in. Two had some words in the first half and for Jimmy Butler trying to get himself going and he’s hobbled and and banged up doing what he can in this game. And for Houston, they’ll take advantage. [Applause] Fred sets the pick. Green comes off of it. Shoo got held. They got to make that call. So, four straight for Golden State to begin the second half. Green on Curry. Ice wing him here on this side of the floor. Steps inside the three-point line and scores. That’s six unanswered by the Warriors to start the second half and a quick timeout for Eay Udoka. So, a good start for them. A bad start for the Rockets. Curry thought he got fouled. No whistle on that ch. He’s got a dozen. Great defensive effort so far. So far they’ve limited him to 12 again in their one loss in the series. He scored 20 as you saw there. But you’re right, Vanessa. He can be dangerous at any moment. We’ve seen that over the years. Van Lee into the lane, jumps it off the green. Quarter three is in the air. It is off the mark. Six straight for Golden State. Start the half. They’re looking for more. Trying to get the lead back. So, second time the Rocket starters have come out cold to begin the game. And now to begin the second half, Jimmy Butler foul. That’s what Jimmy does. He looks to get himself. So, Butler is a free throw magnet. Three for three in this game. He’s also pretty darn good when he gets there. 84% for his career. He did play against the Rockets with Minnesota back in 2018, a series with the Rockets, one in five games. He averaged 16 a game in that series and shot it very well for three. 47% made four free throws there. He’s been a very good playoff performer in his career. Houston can’t get Shenon on the move going to the rim. Golden State with eight unanswered points. And the Rockets miss again. See if Eay might go to his bench a little earlier. Turnovers this time. It’s just there’s been no offense for the Rockets. And he off the cut gets it from Butler. That’s 10 in a row for Golden State. Houston’s got no energy here. They’ve got to wake up. Green turnover. Four on three in the other way. Butler and he allows the Rockets defense to retreat and get set up. Now the Golden State Warriors operating the half court and then a cut back. Oh, he smoked the layup. Ain’t tricking if you got it, Craig. Shenon smoked one. Pipsky just smoked that. Houston needs a good look here. Do they ever? Two on Shenon to Van Vleet from the wing. The three is open. Oh no. Halfway down. Pocked out. Call me crazy, but the best thing about this run, the silver lining is that Curry’s not getting points. He’s not scoring. So again, you still don’t want to overreact. You got to be better defensively, you got to wake up. And there’s that sub. Tar’s in. Picks up Jaylen Green. [Applause] Get some improvement defensively here. And if you can’t turn defense into offense, that’s why EA did it. [Applause] Back to Draymond into a cutting pajki out to Butler. Steps inside the arc. Comes outside. Here’s Pods for three. Wow. The run continues. All Golden State to begin this third quarter. The Rockets have yet to score. It’s 13 in a row now for the Warriors. They had one of those runs to start the game. Golden State in zone. You got to move it and attack again. You cannot get stagnant. Thompson ball fake. Foul on Draymond. Will they give him continuation? Will they give him continuation? Will they give him continuation? [Applause] He never double clutched. He He He tried to shoot straight through the whistle. No, they won’t. Play and mess with the referees. Understand that. There’s so much confusion out there now. The Warrior So much confusion. Tech him up. Take him up and calm the game down. How about that? If you’re the referee, take control of this game. Check them up and call the game down. Draymond’s got five personal fouls. He now is on the Warriors bench. He shouldn’t be playing. Rockets are looking for their first points of the half. They finally get one. It took him almost four minutes to score in this third quarter. He should not be allowed in the contest. Making a mockery of the game. [Applause] got to do it defensively here again. You got to take away Curry and when the ball moves, you got to rotate. 14 for Steph Curry. Most of his damage though coming on two so far. This 3-2 zone. It’s not a two-3. It’s a 3-2 zone. It’s bothering Houston. What they’re really trying to do is take away the middle of the floor. That’s where Houston loves to attack. Post has come in for Draymond. Thompson to Tory. He’s open. Rockets have still not made a shot. Going on four and a half plus minutes into this second half. Curry to heal. Quick release. And they’re making everything like everything. They’re up by 10. A disastrous start to the third quarter for the Houston Rockets. They have to call timeout again. Throughout the course of the season, they’re going to have to do it again here. An 18 to one start for Golden State to begin this second half. They’re seven of eight from the field. The Rockets are 0 for six. And this 3-2 zone has bothered Houston. There you go. You get Steven Adams and you you have someone who takes up space, but you just got to play basketball. Sometimes zone makes you think and that’s the idea. Go hoop. Not just Adams but Jabarisma Smith Jr. They have been so good off the bench for Eay. Post is left open. Rebound to Adams to Van Lee and gets fouled by Heel after he nearly turned the ball over. And instead of double big, we go threeheaded monster. You got to give some respect to Jabari Smith Jr. what he has been brought to this basketball team and especially with the double big lineup. He has been uh really good. Back to Shinon working on Butler. There’s the help. Smith in the corner. Resets now. Slithers into the lane and finds a wide open Steven Adams. Okay man, those two have been so good off the bench and digging the starters the hole that they have created right now. Again, it’s defensively those last two buckets so important. Yes, you you calm the game down, but again, you pressure Golden State, their role players, and say you guys got to score. It can’t be Curry. Healed over Shenon. No, those are different shots when Houston scores the basketball because you’re not taking the ball. Stop and pulls up. Drano now the Rockets with the momentum and it’s Steve Kerr who calls a timeout. And hits a three. You don’t see it right there, but Houston again defensively getting back in the game and got some offense and that was absolutely struggling to start the half. Curry a very deep three grabs error. Picked out of the air by Penski. Shot clock did not reset. Post to heel. Good look. Makes it man. That’s tough right there. Yeah, but it’s not Curry. With all due respect to Buddy Hill, that is not going to kill you. Curry hitting those shots is going to end up in a flurry. So that ends the Rockets run. We’re back to man. Steve Kerr did just enough with that [Music] [Applause] 3-2. Benley pocket picked. You could have made that call on the other end. Fred was fouled and there was a no call. Very interesting strategy here from Steve Cerr going with the seldom used at least in the last several months. Trace Jackson Davis on the floor. You know what? I thought he gave great minutes. I’m last year. Last year he did the lineup. Yeah. Well, he he played he’s matching this double big. That’s what he’s doing Traymond’s foul trouble. He’s hardly played like the last 40 plus games. Yeah. Post fouled. got by Shenon. Adams was there to fort the dunk that would have again blown the lid off the building, but Post will shoot too. You can’t just let him go like that. You almost set up Steven Adams. That was way too easy. So Post at the line and now a word from McCaram injury lawyers. 12 points. Guess what? They finally missed a free throw. They’re 11 of 12. The Rockets are 11 of 18. Golden State didn’t exactly as a team shoot it great this year at the line either. Now again they have the best free throw shooter ever. They were 25th in the league at the line at 76.4% in the regular season as a team. They were actually in some of those early games in Houston they were actually last in the league at the line. That almost hurt them. We talked about this a lot in that crazy almost comeback for the Rockets that Tar East led. But he ends up making the second. Jimmy Butler being on this team changed all of that. Yeah, he’s Oh, they’re going to call Adams with another pick and deck. This time the Pensky. They called him on one earlier against Jimmy Butler. Absolutely. Make sure you call it both ways. So, the Rockets are back down seven. They had a seven-point halftime lead and then Golden State an 18 to1 run. Oh, that’s easy. And you That’s the thing. If you stay up and you’re disciplined, you can throw Curry off. And think Eay’s going to go wedge here trying to get Shingun on the block. Might attack Trace Jackson. I think that’s the mindset there. He’s going to try to guard Shingon. He’s He’s got six good fouls. And that’s the mindset there from Steve Kerr. Kenny as a rookie played himself into the rotation. Oh, he can play. Vanble is open. Makes it. That’s his sixth three by far. His best overall shooting game of the entire year against Golden State. He’s got 18 points. Not just a series, but regular season as well. And that was a big time mate. Pensky trying to get it back. Does not. Vanbleite with the rebound. Comes into the front court. Slips by Penski’s called for a reach in foul. Yeah, Fred gets it. He thought he should have had that whistle earlier. Didn’t complain. Kept attacking. And what Fred does so excellent. He vision and you see where you can get teammates wide open. Three team fouls both ways here. The third with four minutes to go. Butler returning. Uh Gary Payton the second come in as well. Post and healed go out for the Warriors. Well, Trace Jackson, he’s got some hops. He’s a shot blocker. He’s going to stay out there to try to keep a body on Steven Adams. You know, his only career 20point game was in Houston, April of last season. Interesting. Jimmy Butler trying to match up here and they’re not going to double team. Right back to Shingun. A little shoulder shake, leans in, scores. There you go. Played through all of it and made the basket. It’s a two-point game. You know Jimmy’s going to reach and Jimmy’s hobbled and played through that and that from Shingon and coach Udoka going right back to that matchup. All right, Butler one on over Shenon baseline. Now to Penski. He rolls into the lane, spins, goes glass. Nicely done by Brandon Penski. He’s got 18 points. But you have to live with those shots. You’re playing oneon-one. Normally there’s nail health there, but Curry was there going right back to [Applause] [Music] Wedge. One with Payton. Excellent defender. And he got fouled. Now he obviously Shinun is much bigger than his Gary Payton in the second. Well, there’s help there, but you can’t leave the seal of Steven Adams in that. What that does is it it it allows Shingun to work cuz if you get off body, that’s an offensive rebound. Take advantage of tonight’s Rocket Shop online item of the game. It’s a 6:30 tip off. 6:30. What? Do what you got to do. Say you’re sick. I’m telling you, lie to your bosses. If you got tickets to the game, leave early. I don’t care what happens. Get to the game early. And then Adams got dropped and now he’s looks like he came down on his backside a little bit, maybe his hip, and he’s very slow to get up. But there was a foul on the Warriors. Tickets for game five. Call off, work early, take the day off, do whatever you got to do. And Adams came down on his hip and 6:30 tip on Wednesday night. Mark that down. 6:30 tip. Trace Jackson, you see him? He’s face guarded and that’s an automatic foul and just takes down. But he’s in there. He He’s in there for six. He’s got five. So Steven Adams at the line. [Applause] Serenity now. [Applause] He’ll take it. 13 of 22. The Rockets are at the foul line. And again, right now, the mindset, you got to stay connected to Curry. Everybody else is playing four in this zone here. Jackson Davis misses at the rim. Hawkins can tie it up with a two. Get the lead back with a three. That’s a bit of a high dribble by Jane Good. May have gotten away with it, but he scored and the game is tied at 74. Yeah, could have been an and one, but it wasn’t called. But again, that dunin from Steven Adams has not let the hell come. 9-2 is the Rockets run. This group after that horrible start to the quarter where Golden State out score of 18 to1 has tied it up. The Rockets were down 10. That’s twice they’ve come back from double digits in this game. But Jensen’s open from the slot really good. Yeah, that’s his fifth three. 37% shooter from deep. Again, he’s ridden a roller coaster this year, but he’s been terrific since the first of the year for that. See, let’s see if a double comes here. Shen good on Jackson Davis backing him down, stepping through, rolling. Third move, foul and free throws. [Applause] They called it on Curry and he’s saying that he did not foul him. They do have a challenge left to use if they decide to do so to the Warriors. North Ker is going to bite on this one and he is going to and they are what well? Wait a second. I don’t think he called a timeout. Kerr did not call a timeout before he signaled for the challenge. And I believe that’s a technical foul. That’s what’s happened. He didn’t You have to call timeout and then the whirl. He just came on the floor with the whirl, I believe. Now, Houston, please take advantage here. The free throw goes in there. I I think I think that’s what happened. Yeah, there is something. I saw that text. So, I it I I not exactly sure. There’s definitely a free throw. I think that’s what happened with that situation. Confirmation there. I don’t I don’t think a late signal on a challenge is a tactical foul. I don’t think I could be wrong on that. Anyhow, um, come on, man. Oh, I apologize, but I’m not exactly sure what happened there. Steve Curry definitely signaled timeout first. He definitely did. I missed that in real time. 11 more missed free throws. Oh, my blood pressure is high right now. Ball fake, foul, and one. So, you went from missing two free throws to an and one for Jimmy Butler. Our guys are working so hard. They have to pay these free throws off. I know they’re not easy. Look at Jimmy Butler here. He’s going to take his time. He is hunting for free throws. Do not go for his shot fake. That is something that Jimmy likes to do. He has no lift right now. He’s still hurting. He He just bearing through it all and he just throws the ball and it goes in. But here’s the thing. Jimmy Butler is an excellent free throw shooter. I mean, maybe the tentacle was because somebody must have said something. Maybe the table. I don’t know. Maybe there was something with play taking too long. I have no idea what happened there. Well, but Rockets just can’t make their free throws. ShenGun made that. He He’s been hot. He’s really lit up since Steven Adams has been on the floor. Healed up top and rebound Adams momentarily deflected by Payton. [Applause] Shun wanted a 51. Look, watch him Fred set this pick. See how they navigate. Peyton blew it up. And the Shenun just stun right by. He never put it down. And there was a foul, but they should count it. He never put it back down. They’re going to say it was not an and one. He wanted Hats off to Shun. He won. It went in. Okay, you turn your back for the rest. turning my back. I’m turning my back the rest of the Well, one thing that we do have in this booth is a lot of space. Yes. I feel like John Madden in here. Oh man. Oh, near deflection there for Amin Thompson. If Houston can get in transition here, when you slow down Golden State, they’ve turned it over, Craig. [Applause] And good contest by Smith. Two for one opportunity here. You got it if you want it. Inside of 30 seconds to go in the third quarter, game four. Golden State leading the series two games to one. Van Bleet 43. No offensive rebound. Back up with it. Smith. No. Nar and Dylan Brooks in a sub in here for defensive purposes. Second personal foul on Gary Payton is second. Jabari Smith Junior’s first free throws of the game. got his back turned. Ball up and out. Sorry, you can watch that. That didn’t work. Jabari Jabari’s second missed free throw of the series. One more to tie it up. 19.8 to go in the quarter. Shot clock is off. At this point, if you’re Houston, forget the free throws. Just find a way. I I don’t care how you get the ball in the basket. You find a way. We work on free throws tomorrow, but you got to find a way to win this game by any means necessary. It’s tied at 80. Got to get a stop here. Got to communicate all switches. And what Golden State has done, they played through Butler. Here’s Heel ahead of Steve. Oh, that went off his leg. Did it not? They say it did not. There’s a reason they don’t like Buddy Hill dribbling. Oh, where’s Jimmy? Oh, they come into Oh, he was Yeah, he was he pulled though. Jimmy But Jimmy’s getting a piece of jersey there. I mean, I I think I thought Trey did pull him down. I don’t know if Butler held him too, but I think that was a good call. See, here’s the thing. Steph makes his free throws. Jimmy makes his free throws. You don’t want to let these guys walk you down. And Taran going to run. You saw that left hand though of Butler. I don’t know, man. That left hand of Butler. Watch this left hand. E’s been playing ball, but he did have a hand in his for the season. He’s hasn’t missed tonight. He’s now six for six. Golden State’s only missed one free throw. And um the Rockets have uh missed more than one free throw. 8.8 to go in the third. So you got uh Shenon back out there. And uh one more free throw here for Jimmy Butler. away. See how many on DC that was just his first technical excellent Jim is very good a lot. All right, so the Rockets are down two. Closing seconds of the quarter. Point Shenon working on Looney in the lane spinning over the shoulder. No, tried to don’t get back with Shenon got to look at it. three and looks at it with 8 seconds to go in the third. Came away with no points and trail. Big lineup has been excellent. Alprren Shingun has been on fire, but the Achilles heel as you know to Craig, what the free throw line so far. Well, Jaylen Green is back out there to start the force. Shun on post. Missed it. Tapped by Adams. Saved by Green. Right back to Shinon. Comes back out to Een Pajinski. Oh, they called that. They called that. They didn’t call it the first time. He’ll call it there. And that’s what Kajipsky does. He looks to take those fouls. And I like the aggressiveness though that we’re seeing from Shing. He’s got to stay in that mode. No, no Curry on the floor. Let’s see if Houston can win these minutes. Craig Pachki steps right. Oh, makes another one. Brandon Pachki. 44 six of nine for downtown. When you’re on the floor, there’s no curry. You got to realize he’s hot. Give him some extra attention. Thompson goes baseline off the glass and in more of that. If if a man gets an angle, he’s got to go. But he can stay creative. On the dribble, handoff actions. Here you go. There’s the attention to pass now to Payton to Butler. [Music] goes baseline to Moody. You got Post begging for help. This double’s going to come. Jaylen Green’s got to be ready into the lane and in and out. Adams got undercut and fouled. Craig, he’s he’s been so I mean, he’s a godsend. I mean, Stephen Adams has been so good. I don’t know where Houston would be like that gorilla, too. Golden State, you saw the re offensive rebounding numbers. Golden State is doubling up the Rockets in this game so far in second chance points 168. And that time, a little bit of a straight line drive for Shenon. He’s got 23. Let me tell you one thing. Before the game right there in in on the front row, Papa Shingun was watching Alp. He’s thinking about his pops right now. Let’s hope that he can bring this game home. Oh, Bmer. Jimmy Butler, his first triple of the game. They’re 15 of 37. The Rockets are nine of 19 from the three-point line. Thompson in post right to the rim. There you go. You see lowering the shoulder on post. He’s a big defender, but not a great defender. Rockets are a plus 18 in the paint. Air ball. How about that contest there from Jaylen Green and and what this zone has done is said, “Hey, we’re going to be in some tough predicaments. Rotate, scramble, and contest.” Al Prin has been taking over this game. But again, that’s the effect when Steven Adams is [Applause] in. Got to get the ball to him sooner. Watch Jaylen Green on this spin. Oh, what a move. What a move to tie it up at 88. You can’t put the big on Steven or Alpie. So, somebody small is going to be guarding him and he’s spitting off guys left and right. I mean, talk about masterful footwork. What a play that was. Houston right now going to play the percentages. Give a little extra attention to Pajinsky. Shenun’s nine for his last 15 after a one for seven start. And that goes over the top of the backboard and goes down. Rockets ball again down the lane. Oh, no. How did he How did he get it in? How How did he not come back down on the floor? How do How was there enough gravity defying athleticism for him to score that? Got to pick him up. Got to pick him up. Into Pensky. Out to Butler on the wing. Back to Baji in the corner to Butler. Stay defending his spin move. He gets to the rim. Doesn’t drop, but it’s tapped in. Good defense though, staying down to make Golden State work. Keeping Curry out of these actions now. The help is going to come. How about Shing putting guys in the spots where he wants [Music] him. Foul. He’s been so good. He has been so good. This is probably some of the best playoff basketball we’ve seen. Shinun on the road against Golden State. Houston needs every minute. And look at this. I mean, he’s almost touching the ground. I don’t know how Men Thompson did that. He is a superior athlete. So, Shinun’s at the line. Big fella, you tell you you want to watch your turn. Two free throws. And um and now a message from Alliant. Well, he’s got one job. Guard Shingon. If you’re Shingun, do not get gunshy. Go right at him. and get him out of the game. Do not let him affect what’s going on here. Draymond has had a terrific defensive series. Antics aside, one more for Shenon. Makes them both. Well, he doesn’t mind sacrificing himself for his team. He’s going to do the dirty things and and and whatever it takes to to win. That’s why he is who he is. Match up here on Curry. There’s the double pick. The look. Air ball. Is that is that his second air ball three? Yeah, it is. That man. And that was tough cuz he got the look he wanted going off the right side of the screen against the zone. He’s one for six from three. Thompson at Draymond off the glass again. Nice touch. He’s unbelievable. I told you in the mid-range it’s unbelievable. This is the best that the Rockets have gotten from Ben Thompson in this series. 17 points, six boards, a couple of assists, seven of 10 shooting. Rockets up four. It’s It’s gone to essentially a box in one hurry. Yeah, man. There was a push. Jaylen didn’t even two for two. I told you since a free throw pick fell out. That’s That’s on you. That’s on you. Appreciate it. Rare missed free throw by Golden State. Just their second Thompson starting to come alive. Draymond with five. Attack him. Go at him. That’s why he’s backing off. Oh, Adam, please. That’s little hot potato there. Finally secured by Penski. Now to Butler Trayon off the hook. That’s the softest defense he played cuz he he knows he’s out of here. Grandma Green hit a couple of early threes. That’s why you don’t over God bless those two. God bless those two threes he hit early in the game. Keep on shooting because guess who didn’t shoot? Steph Curry on that possession. Steve Curry seen enough. [Applause] Timeout. 646 to go. 9492 Houston. Eay talking with Jaylen Green and Amen Thompson. Rockets really could use this [Applause] win. Thompson crossover drive. Missed tap. No rebound. Shenun in. bodies flying on the boards. That’s the Steven Adams effect that we just spoke about in Houston. Looks like they’re going back in into man or switching man. Looks like a match up by Shu picked up by Draymond Green to Curry back. Draymond driving baseline. Adams got a piece of it volleyball style right at the net. Three. This is a play they worked on in shoot around. He’s going to either try to set this screen or slip this and zip to the corner. There’s only two seconds on the possession. Pensky. Pajki into Curry. The ball fake. The reset. Got it. He’s coming to the corner. They walked through that all shoot around long. Curry beats the buzzer. One-point game. His second three. He’s got 17. on the move again. Shenu. No. Tapped in by Steven Adams. Yeah, that’s the big thing because when to Draymond to healed back inside of a wide open Jimmy Butler. Yeah, she go was slow getting back and Jimmy just parked himself underneath the [Applause] [Music] rim. Shun’s been hot. And again, Golden State can’t really help with Steven Adams underneath. Put your back to him in spin. Thompson. No. Well defended by Draymond Green. Comes away with a loose ball as well. And then he and Tons get tied up. He gave his head a smoosh into the floor. He sure did. Butler thought about it. Golden State can get the lead back. Curry for three. No. And Jaylen Green the last to touch. Extremely extremely fortunate there. Extremely fortunate. Jaylen wants this to be challenged. Look at this. Good verticality there. Well defended initially and then goes down after that ball and then watch Draymond. I mean, he’s begging to be out of this game. And what’s he doing? He’s begging to be out. Rockets will not challenge Golden State ball. 14 on the possession. 458 for the game. 98 97 Houston got to stay down. Brooks has picked up Jaylen Green stepping through how about the spike by Steven Adams. Well, Steven Adams had unbelievable timing. He just kind of played Koi on the weak side and watch him take his time. He’s in the low ball. Yeah, he knew the help was going to be there. Fred going to force the defense to the baseline and that’s just veteran play by those two. And you see Jimmy’s got no lift. Volleyball turn had the spike, had the ball fake, heel drive. Adams defended it. Penski picked it out to Curry. Curry to Pajki from the corner. It bounces off and the Rockets finally get the ball of four and a half minutes to go. Unbelievable scramble right there. And again, there’s a hack of Steven Adams going out there. You see how nicely Looney Patted? Well, he had one to give. Well, that wasn’t I mean, that was only their Looney’s going to get this other one. Only that was only their 13 foul. You got to let the ball in bounds first though before it happens. Oh, boy. That was so And here goes over. Yeah. Well, that’s number four on Golden State. It’s a sign of respect. You slow down your team by doing this. You’re telling your team that they are not good enough. Why not? Now he got one for two last time. Oh, Adam. He’s got five. Jay’s got to be perfect here. Fred van lead. Another triple number seven. And you didn’t want to jump out cuz Shon was so hot. Now he’s opening up and then Thompson opening up Fred Van Vleet. Curry gets it back from both. Curry and Thompson got a piece of it. Knocked it out of bound. I swear to you, Min Thompson can be in two places at one time. He is unbelievable defensively. and and he has not been in this series, but this is the event Thompson we saw in the regular season tonight in game four. Yeah. Getting downhill and you see him he steps up like he’s going to take Curry then gets into the lane was throwing it in and coming to get it back into Draymond to Pachki inside to Draymond to Butler cutting baseline. Well executed play by Northern State absolutely they’re the best in the league here at playing off those switches and when you got Steph Curry you know you have to be up. Butler’s got 22nd assist from Draymond Green. Two-point Houston lead. Vano on the move into the lane to a Shenun at the line. Heel picks him up. Worlds and misses. Great look there. Got to pick up Curry here. Heel steps left and the Warriors have the lead again. Might want to get Steven Adams back on the floor. Rockets are calling a timeout. Maybe maybe to do just that. Eyes for Brandon Pensky 26. And now Brenshin 29. Kersgar back to zone. Draymond in the middle of that zone playing the five foul. Smith from the wing. No. And the rebound to Draymond Green. Two guys pressuring him. Finds Curry. flips it ahead to Pachki in that 3-2 zone. It’s the It’s the corners that are open. You got to go corner to high post. Pachki got it off. Short rebound. Butler to Heel. He misses. Thompson with the rebound and is able to keep himself inbounds. Yeah, if you’re Houston, you got to find a way to get back to Shenon again. Draymond’s got those fouls. Comes on the other side, kicks it back out to Thompson. reset at the logo to Vanble. One-on-one with Ps trying to turn a corner. Can’t. Van Lee still with it now. Burls into the lane. Pachki blocked it from behind. He’s got to come back to the ball. He’s got to come back to the ball. Draymond can’t guard. Can’t stay stay with them with the fouls. Butler layup. Good. Warriors up by three. And Jimmy Butler did the right thing. He didn’t hesitate. Let Houston get their defense set. Khaka Adams worked. The Rockets have struggled since he’s come off the floor. Here’s Jabari back over the head of Andre into the back court. Out of bounds turnover. Adams is going to check in now with the hack of Steo worked. It worked. The Rockets had the momentum and then the hack of Steve Steo couple of them and he needed a break anyways but Houston was absolutely rolling with him on the floor and now they’re down three with a buck 50 clock running in the fourth. Curry to Pajki. Got to find Curry here. Heel dancing, heel spinning, heel shooting. Oh, in and out. All right, Houston needs a great one here. Shenoon again. If you post him, you got Steven Adams underneath. Over the shoulder. Vanble for three. Van Bleed for three. It’s tied at 104. He’s got eight of them now. That’s why you put Shonun in the action. He’s hot and he’s taken two guys with him. Just tied a playoff franchise record with those eight threes. Jaylen Green did the same in game two. Here’s Butler spinning. Kicks it. Pajki hands it to Curry to help. Adams was all Curry. Now there’s Thompson. Finds Butler. Fumbled it initially. Has to shoot it. He got fouled. Now watch that leg kick out. If you’re email, you may want to challenge this. It looked like Jimmy Butler has not missed a free throw tonight. [Applause] Two more. He was acquired from the Heat. The five team deal. They’ve been fantastic with it. Clutch at the line. Three for three for Jimmy Butler. All right, let’s get Shing back in action as a screen setter. Allow him to get downhill. [Applause] Shenun with Payton switched up on him at the elbow. Drop step glass. Score. There you go. But with Steven Adams, you can’t help. That’s why that dump. That’s why Steven has been so important to this run. And Shimun 107 106 Warriors. 40.8 to go. It’ll be Curry the inbounder. Amen Thompson defending that inbounder. Jabari Smith Jr. Dylan Brooks, Tory Een, and Fred Vanble. Those are the five Rockets defensively on the floor. This is Brook. You got to go in and rebound big. Whatever happens, you need to go in with a big rebound. They come into Butler. One-on-one with Ty E. He’s been terrific in the second half. Stay down. Got to stay down for the shot fake. Shoots over the top. Misses. Rebound knocked out of bounds by Dylan Brooks with 28.8 to go. Draymond Green had inside positioning on Rockets to win it here. Shot clock is off. Red Vanble keeps the dribble alive, but the Rockets call a timeout with 13.1 to go. Down one. I love when you got double big. Steve Kursan double big with Looney trying to box out Steven Adams and Shenon is camp in the corner right in front of the Rocky’s bench. Plenty of time, but you need one here. Yeah, and here’s the thing with Golden State. They can switch all these actions. Got to get it in. They do it to Manly now to Shun. Rockets looking for the win in on Draymond. Spin, hook, bounce. No rebound. Butler. Monster second half for Jimmy Butler back from the injury. Seth Curry has 17. Butler’s got 26. PJsky has 26. Golden State by two. Rockets added timeouts. 4 seconds to play in game four. Rockets this close to falling down 3-1 in this series. Makes them both. 12 for 12 for Butler at the line tonight. Rockets need a miracle. Shun into Vanble. Vanble cross midcourt. Vanble got it. Oh no. 3-1 series lead for the Golden State. Hello. You’re too late. [Music] [Laughter] [Music]

  1. The Warriors are losing because they are not running plays, driving to basketball and not rebounding, they are just horrible tonight ball handling not etting picks I am embarrassed watching the game. They kept relying on shooting 3 pts. whereas Rockets are driving the ball to basketball and lighting the net up with basket after basket. Kerr you need to run plays gotta do better coaching.
