The Bucks need Jrue back
So they made a huge trade for Drew Holiday and got him from New Orleans. Drew was just wasting away down there after the Anthony Davis trade. But the Bucks gave up three first round picks for Drew. Drew was the guy that Giannis asked for, so they did whatever it took to get him. Drew was just straight up a better version of Bledo. More consistent shooter, better court vision. He was even a better on ball defender than Bleo was. The main reason though that the Bucks went and got Holiday was not because they needed a point guard. It was to convince Giannis to stay in Milwaukee. They had to prove that they were willing to sacrifice their future for Giannis’ championship window. And it was effective because Giannis did sign that Supermax extension after Drew Holiday was traded to the Bucks. It was also effective in the sense that the Milwaukee Bucks did win the championship with Drew.

I honestly think that Jrue flat out 1 to 1 is better than Dame for the bucks system they went from 56 wins to 48 without Jrue and his defense just can’t be measured in stats
Jrue won them the finals. I’ve watched book my whole life and never seen anyone guard him like that
