After this whole season talking about tanking and “capturing the Flagg” well it went just about as bad as it could as the Raptors fall from the 7th spot to the 9th spot in the NBA Draft!! How are we feeling after the lottery and who do you want them to select??

Giannis trade tiers: What every NBA team can — and can't — offer the Bucks
This was not a surprise at all. The NBA will do anything to screw the raptors especially in a loaded draft class. Raptors better pick the best available for the ninth pick reason why they drop down is cause they traded for Ingram an all star and those late wins they definitely screw up there draft odds.
It’s not the fact that we dropped but it’s about who rose. Such a coincidence that the 3 teams at the top are ones who had major storylines regarding their picks/seasons while also being moderately big markets. Philly and Dallas get rewarded for being inept organizations whereas San Antonio keeps jumping in the draft
Lets go get Khaman Maluach
We need Khaman Maluach 100% I mean he’s a 7’2 almost 7’3 250lb monster who could do wonders for that bench center position and he’s still developing 3pt shot give him the raptors coaching staff to work with that a star right there

Yup! Draft was rigged! Another painful year for the raptors coming up! Unless they trade Barnes and the new guy they got from the pelicans for an old superstar like antekumpo or lebron they are going nowhere! The league hates the raptors! Their only hope is trading the farm for an aging past superstar and pay them a billion dollars for the 3 or 4 years they have left playing!

Steve Simmons had an interesting tidbit in his Sunday column: "It used to drive Masai Ujiri crazy that a Raptors team with Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby and Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl had all that talent and couldn’t succeed in the NBA. Now you’re seeing Siakam and Anunoby starring in the playoffs, and that must be driving Masai just a touch batty." lol

Dude it’s really not that serious. This is why you can’t put all your chips in the lottery balls. There was no guarantee of getting Cooper Flag. So just throwing away season at a chance isn’t the best strategy. Develop and grow the team. The team can at least start to contend next season. I highly doubt the wizards and hornets will be anywhere close to relevant.
I have no patience selecting another young kid. Trade our 9th pick and Gradey to Utah for Walker Kessler and Minnesota 2025 pick. I like Walker Kessler young Center who great on defence. Plus it’s better Poetl comes of the bench with all his injuries. Ja’Kobe I think will be better than Gradey. I like Gradey but sometimes he lacks confidence. If Maluach is still available when Minnesota pick comes even better. Kessler, Poetl and Maluach as our Centers perfect. Raptors need to stock up on big man.
Jason Kidd will develop Flagg like how he developed Giannis.
