PAU GASOL – SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Pal Gasol, born July 6th, 1980 in Barcelona, Spain, is a 7- foot tall former NBA star and one of the greatest European players in basketball history. He began his pro career with FC Barcelona before being drafted third overall in 2001. Gasol won NBA Rookie of the Year in 2002 with the Memphis Grizzlies. He later won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010. A six-time all-star, he also led Spain to multiple Euro basket titles and Olympic medals. He retired in 2021 and entered the Hall of Fame in 2023.
