Doubting to select Harper for overlapping with Malaki and Blake, it's complete madness.
I am so tired of hearing speculations about "controversies" that are hypothetical. The Spurs organization is isn't like that. Really, think about that. And every player is on notice from day one. There are no guarantees, and Father Time catches up with us all.
Honestly, if the Spurs draft Harper, I'd really be excited to see him, Castle, and Fox play together and see if the team can figure out how to make it work.
And to your point about would Harper push the other players should the Spirs draft him and he shows out…. how is that a bad thing? Doesn't that improve the team?
As for the Spurs telling other teams that Harper is their guy, what purpose would that serve for them? To convince another team to trade up in the draft and pay dearly for the privilege? lol

I don’t know why everyone is doubting Harper /guard . Cp3 GAURD we ran him with Fox and castle . Harper is way better than castle and cp3 right now. Make it make sense . Elephant in the room okc runs 3 guards at once the nba is evolving and this formula works .let all that sink in spurs fans . GSG!!
Its really simple. Harper is a serious talent. He's got size like Castle. Just draft him and enjoy the show. This 3 guard lineup will work. Just look at OKC doing it
One of them is gonna run the bench if they draft Harper . Great problem to have . You’re gonna have a great ball handler most of the time. Several good 3 pt shooters in free agency. I’d like to add someone like Kornet from Boston to back up Wemby unless they use that 14 pick on a big . Hes a free agent this summer
Excited for Wemby to have a little time with Hakeem. If he gets a go to move and some footwork and a little stronger that’s just gonna make him a lot more dangerous
