So, could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Giannis and to the Kmpo to the Houston Rockets this 2025 NBA off season? But this trade would see the Houston Rockets receiving Giannis Takmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Alpin Sangun, Jabari Smith Jr., here. Reed Shepard, the number 10 overall draft pick this year and a 2027 first round pick from the Phoenix Suns. So, this trade, if it were to happen, would actually be probably pretty similar to what the actual package would be. I think if you are the Milwaukee Bucks, you sort of have to get back Sangun in a Giannis trade. Now, there’s been a lot of speculation about perhaps Jaylen Green being the centerpiece of this deal, but truthfully speaking, especially given the year that Jaylen Green had this past year in Houston. I would much rather build around Sangon, Jabari Smith, Reed Shepard, three very valuable, good young players, a first round draft pick this year, as well as a potential lottery pick down the road from Phoenix. Like, that’s a step in the right direction. If you’re Milwaukee and you’re trading away your franchise player, probably the second or third best player in the entire NBA, you have to get back this package. You can build around Sangon. I think Smith and Reed Shepard perhaps in a change of scenery, maybe more of an increased role offensively speaking, this can be a great move for the Milwaukee Bucks in the future. And if they draft well with number 10, and if that first round draft pick in 27 hits in the lottery, for instance, this is a pretty good package all things considered. Now, if you’re the Houston Rockets, they of course are getting back the biggest uh player in this deal, that being Giannis. Giannis would make this team like a title contender once again. Uh the Rockets had a good regular season last year. They kind of fell short in the playoffs and just kind of we saw some weaknesses exposed. So, I think if they’re able to get a legit superstar player in Giannis, uh pray that someone like Jaylen Green can bounce back. I know that you’re getting a little bit less deep with this deal, but uh you’re gaining star power. So, in a pretty loaded Western Conference for the 2025 26 season, I think if you’re Houston, you kind of have to make this aggressive of a move in order to win a championship. So, if I had to pick a winner of this deal, I would probably still go with the Rockets, but the Milwaukee Bucks are not very far behind. Like, this is a great package. As I mentioned before, I love the idea of Sangon going to Milwaukee in any sort of Giannis trade. But those are just my thoughts. As always, leave yours down below.
