The Knicks Just Fired Him.. 🔥🤦♂️🚨
Fans don’t know how to feel about Knicks firing their head coach. During the regular season, the New York Knicks were one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. But there was just one problem. Fans hated the fact that their head coach Tom Tibido was playing his stars nearly the entire game and even during blowout losses. In fact, two New York Knicks led the NBA in minutes played. However, after the New York Knicks made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals and lost a competitive series to the Pacers, team leader Jaylen Brunson came out and said he wanted Tom Tibido to come back next season. But he must have lied because the Knicks just fired Tom Tibido. Keep in mind, this is the same guy who led the team to its first winning season since 2013. Or is that because of a talented roster that was winning despite Tibs? This upcoming season, we’ll get to see whether or not the team’s success the past few years was based on the roster or the man leading them. And as a result of this recent firing,

This was his year, and he blew it.
I don’t think anyone on the roster (especially Jalen) had any say on tom getting fired.. losing to the same team in the playoffs two consecutive years was probably the reason.. common sense bro
I’m a Knick’s fan and we haven’t won a playoff series in 25yrs until Thibs.
Prior to Thibs Knickerbockers hired 13 coaches and were the laughing stock of the NBA!

I’m a Knicks fan and I think this was needed!
100% felt this was our year at least for ECF champs! I was so confident we r in the finals after beating Boston! We are definitely a better team than Indiana, we should’ve won game 1, then we would have game 7 at the Garden and with the best fans in the world in the most iconic arena behind our guys we would’ve won that easy! Would be us in the Finals, maybe OKC would’ve cleared but to have back to back losses to a lesser team like that is a joke! Last year our roster was mostly injured, also fault of Thibs with the overplaying but this was def our time at least as the ECF champs, but going all the way I would still say a new guy is needed. Really thinkin bout it, probably a good thing cause if we made the finals and lost to OKC we would’ve kept Thibs around for awhile and perhaps only gotten as far as the runner-up and not the all out winner just like the 90s as the draught continues, maybe that would’ve been the only year in the Brunson era too, all in all right decision and I’m happy for it. Grateful for his time Thibs had with us but after the loss we took this year against Indiana I didn’t see him as the guy to bring it all the way in years to come! Next year is ours though, gonna get some better depth and a better coach! LFG! 🧡💙

Knicks fans are pretty good with this decision sincerely a Knicks fan. We just thought they would have given Thibs another year but perfect decision.
Brunson wanted Tibbs back because he gave him the green light to play however he wanted to. Brunson is a superstar who has to understand he has teammates.

I spoke to Don Leon Rose, and he said it's because Giannis is coming, and he said he'll only come if they hire Mike Budenholzer. 😂
We all know they’re getting either Malone or budenholzer bc they’re proven championship winning coaches
