  1. Hey Nick, new Camera? New Inputdevice? Looks nice but adds way to much delay to the video compared to the audio. Keep up the good Work!

  2. Unpopular opinion… what if we trade Lively instead? I lean more towards keeping Gafford and PJ. Gafford has been solid since he has gotten here, but I feel Lively has been injured basically every year he has been in the league. Just a thought, but I’d rather play this year out and sign who ever has the better year out of PJ and Gafford… I’m not ready to see them get traded!!!

  3. I really think that we need to leverage what we have, and play Cooper at a point forward until Kyrie is back…then move to a traditional Kyrie at point, Cooper to two…we can actually have an amoeba squad, where everyone playing 1-4 are interchangeable

  4. My perfect off-season for Mavs. Draft Flagg. Top 8 next season: Irving, Reeves, Flagg, AD & Liv. Next 3: Christie, Marshall & Williams next two Exum & Jones.
Lakers get Gafford & PJ. Lakers meet in western conference championship next year: top 5: Lakers: Luka/Paul/PJ/LaBron& Gafford
    Mavs: Irving, Reeves/Flagg/AD & Liv.
What a fun match up to watch. Don't think Mavs will ever give Gafford & PJ to Lakers but to add Reeves would be amazing. He fits in perfectly and with Christie & Reeves & Klay & Williams added to Irving our outside spacing and shooting will be championship level. Exum/Marshall & Jones provide quality depth at guard/wing and inside the paint. Solid defense and great offense. Do it Nico earn back some respect

  5. Don't rush Irving back. This team can earn playoff spot without Irving, but they can't win championship without him. Flagg saved Nico job period. Why? Simply if Irving 33 with injury does not come back full speed, second AD gets injuried again which is certainly a possibility, last Liv getting hurt again another based on last two years is certainly another possibility. Flagg changes everything and saves Nico & Kidd. In my opinion. Go Mavs.

  6. Thank you @IssacLHarris for mentioning how elite Coby White is and can be. I would love to see him in a Mavs Jersey. Hopefully the Mavs have an outstanding offseason making the right decisions at the end of the day. Go Mavs

  7. Can yall do a video on what if the mavs fully embraced the two time lines. Trading pj and gaf for picks and signing cp for their guard replacement. Would that get us under first apron so we get the mid level? I feel like it could be a fun scenario.

  8. As time goes by I'm still in the same mood, winning a ring without Luka wouldn't mean much to me, especially with this disgrafefull GM in charge.🤮🤮
I wish I could move on but sometimes I feel like I just can't. Of course I expect the "you're just a Luka fanboy" comments… even if I'm a Mavs fan since the Dirk era.🤔😮‍💨

  9. I think getting Kyrie around the Brunson annual rate would be ideal. 35/M, 38/M, 41/M, 43/M (team option please) is the goal.
Then we extend Flagg AND LIKELY ANOTHER GUY and go into the 2030’s with A CHANCE to knock off OKC one year.

  10. As someone that’s had ACL surgery, once recovered it’s as strong if not stronger than it’s ever been. That being said, there was a mental aspect to the recovery when I first got back to hooping. Most people that go through reconstructive surgery experience that.

  11. 11:53 …….I agree with Isaac.
“We’ve decided to “de-couple” with Nico Harrison. It’s not him it’s us. If you love someone set them free, we don’t want to let this linger, you were a great GM, let’s be friends, we Have always believed in honesty, making a new path for Nico to follow and being direct is a virtue yada yada yada.

  12. You can’t play Koby and Kyrie together. It doesn’t work because of their lack of size and defensive aggressiveness. How OKC put their team together this year should be the template for all future Dallas squads because that’s the team we will need to beat. He will end up being a backup point guard in the playoffs and playing 10-15 a game when May rolls around.
I like him but he’s a beta, not an alpha.

  13. The fire nico need to stop he turned luka into AD and cooper flagg sound like a excellent trade to me ipl do that any day of the week and twice on sunday u trade ya suoerstar to the lakers u get the number 1 pick that just how it goes that was one of the best trades ik history

  14. No the perfect off season is trading for Mikal Bridges.
He’s the odd man out in NY and in an option year. We also have the guys to get him. He’s not a perfect player (“Coach is playing us too many minutes”) and we saw in Phoenix what his imperfections are but HE WILL PLAY 30-35 a game IN THE PLAYOFFS. THATS THE GOAL.
A guy who will play big minutes in the playoffs and playing well.
Then he gets four years 120/M and we bite the bullet and hope for the best.

  15. Talking about dodging bullets.
The trades/free agent signing the ones that fall through.
Can you imagine Ayton in Indiana right now?

  16. 20:31 …..PJ just feels like our heart ♥️ right now. Four year 88/M and get it done now, or shortly after trading Gafford and 2-3 other guys. Washington stays and guards guys like SGA and Edwards. We need that one guy who can help minimize the destructive power of the best offensive weapons in the West.
I’m not certain it’s him but clearly he’s the best option right now.

  17. I started my accounting career in 2016 and was listening to Mike and Jake, then you guys. Would start my work days listening to your 2017 draft profiles and all the Nerlens contract situation pods, then Luka the next summer. Luka stuff broke my heart but starting to get excited again for all the Flagg episodes this summer.

  18. Sorry PJ has to be traded he is out most valuable trade asset. Plus he plays in Flaggs position so That being said time to trade and paid for a 18+ point scorer young 2 Guard. Don't let you fan fetishs get in the way of a championship roster

  19. We dont have many draft picks in the future

So im not trading PJ and a 1st
Im not trading Gafford and a 1st

Im getting atleast a 1st for PJ
And at least a 1st for Gafford

    Their not scrubs

  20. If all the steps you outlined put the Mavs over the second apron, it's not perfect. Perfect is shedding the salary needed to sign Flagg while shoring up the point guard position and still staying under the apron. I'm pretty mad at the GM, but he is going to have to trade some Mavs player for a lower salary to achieve that. I can just hear the fans now.

  21. I'm thinking Mavs should trade Gafford for a PG. I like the idea of Lonzo + pick for Gafford. If anyone can get the most out of Lonzo it is Kidd. It's risky but if he can stay healthy he is a perfect gap filler as well as a great complement next to Kyrie when Kyrie gets back. The frontcourt is too crowded with Lively, Gafford, Flagg, AD and PJ – all of whom deserve starter minutes/roles. Mavs can sign a cheaper backup C as insurance/six hard fouls but a player of Gafford's caliber is wasted if he can't play at least 20 mpg.

But the perfect Mavs offseason is "We have fired Nico and decided to sell the team back to Cuban since we clearly don't know what we are doing."

  22. One more thing! I have concerns about playing AD and Lively at the same time because of their lack of 3-point shooting. Lively just doesn’t shoot 3’s and AD shoots below 30% from 3. I would love for Lively to shoot 2-4 3’s per game at 33%+ next season. The team needs to have at least 4 decent 3-point shooting threats on the court at all times.
