so could the Charlotte Hornets be trading away LaMelo Ball to the Orlando Magic this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from bleacherreport.com the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Orlando Magic trading uh from sorry the Charlotte Hornets trading LaMelo Ball to the Orlando Magic for Jaylen Suggs Jed Howard and the 16th overall draft pick so I I don’t believe that LaMelo Ball is going to be actively shopped by the Hornets this off seasonason but if he is there’s going to be a lot of suitors for his services and I think that one of the teams that make a lot of sense for him would actually be to go to the Magic the Magic have a pretty big time hole in their back court their front court’s pretty solidified though with Fron and Paulo like adding LaMelo Ball to the mix would solidify uh their hole in the back court but also add a third star player to this team and having a big three for the foreseeable future of LaMelo uh Fron Vagner and Paulo Bonero not only could the Magic make the playoffs next year but they could be potentially a top seed and they can go on a bit of a run and be one of those teams you look out for in the foreseeable future um in Orlando so this could be an awesome move for them i think with the rebrand they just had the other day as well having a change of scenery for this roster might not be a terrible idea they have a good blend of young players and draft capital so perhaps if they want to kind of push those into the middle of the table and see what they can get LaMelo Ball could be available i fully do believe that now if you’re the Charlotte Hornets and you’re going to give up on LaMelo Ball what do you want back in return i think in this scenario you’re almost there you’d probably want to get back a little bit more draft picks as well like Jaylen Suggs good young point guard he could fit in pretty well um with this Hornets team jed Howard same thing uh a top draft pick a top five draft pick a couple years ago that could be a cool fit like these guys fit the timeline relatively well and the 16th pick this year and all things point towards this draft being pretty deep that’s some good value but if you’re able to get a couple pick swaps or maybe some more future draft capital I would probably consider this a little bit more because Lamelo Ball is still a very talented player and in my opinion worth a little bit more than this package in my opinion so without a doubt the winner of this deal to me at least would be the Orlando Magic but those are just my thoughts leave yours down below
