are the Miami Heat already out of the Kevin Durant sweep stakes bill Simmons went on his podcast and said that he thinks the Spurs and Suns could already have a deal in place that they are waiting to announce just a couple days before the NBA draft where KD heads to San Antonio now it has been kind of discredited out there by someone close to Durant on Twitter but there is a lot of buzz surrounding KD and San Antonio and then when you factor in teams like Houston Minnesota the Knicks that could all be interested in KD services it seems more and more likely that the Heat won’t be able to get Durant and if that’s the case Miami I think should look to pivot and by pivoting I mean looking forward to 2026 durant and Giannis are the only two players I think could make a difference on the trade market for Miami this season and Miami is not going to get either of them so why not just wait have your young players develop and stay flexible for next off seasonason to land a star
