so could the Philadelphia 76ers be trading away Joel Embiid to the Minnesota Timberwolves this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Minnesota Timberwolves receiving Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers receiving Nas Reed in a signing trade Jaden McDaniels Dante Danchenzo a 2026 second and a 2029 second round draft pick so without a doubt in my opinion this would be an absolute steal of a deal uh for the 76ers if you’re giving up Nas Reed and Jada McDaniels and Dante Deanchenzo I don’t care about those second round draft picks is way too much value in my opinion uh for the Timberwolves to be giving up especially too in this scenario they’d be keeping Rudy Gobear and Julius Randall on the team so in regards to how this team would look like there’s a lot of star players but there’s a lot of cooks in the kitchen and I think that what what makes this Minnesota team so good is the depth now there’s a pretty good chance that Nas Reed will walk in free agency uh there’s a chance that Julius Randle opts out of his deal as well and a player like Nquille Alexander Walker he could be departing the team as well so this Minnesota team could look very different so I understand if we’re going to lose nause anyways to get rid of him but Jada McDaniels very awesome player underrated player makes a lot of sense uh for the for the T-Wolves to keep him dvenzo the same thing a little bit more expendable I would say than uh Jaden McDaniels but if you’re the 76ers you’re getting back an absolute hull like adding Nas Reed McDaniels and Dvenenzo to a team that already has Tyrese Maxi Paul George and Jared McCain like they could be potentially the best team in the East next year like I fully do believe that now if you’re the T-Wolves I understand maybe them wanting to make a move or two this off seasonason as I mentioned before maybe Nas Reed departs the team and you want to replace some or maybe you want to get rid of a Julius Randall or whatever the case may be but as I mentioned before does Joel make this team better like if he plays yes on paper yes but is he going to play how’s it going to look like I don’t know doesn’t make a ton of sense if you ask me from a trade perspective so I think without a doubt the winner of this deal would be the Philadelphia 76ers but as always leave your thoughts
