so could the Memphis Grizzlies be trading away John Morant to the Minnesota Timberwolves this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from Fadeaway World.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Minnesota Timberwolves receiving John Morant and John Kchar and the Memphis Grizzlies receiving Jaden McDaniels Nause Reed in a signing trade the number 17 pick this year and the number 31 first round pick so this might be a crazy thing to say but if I’m the Timberwolves I I probably wouldn’t do this now there is a legit scenario where they lose some players this off season nas Reed could very well be one of those guys um via the signing trademark or whatever so it’s not a surprise to me that these players could be departing anyways but John Morant’s a tremendous player like don’t get me wrong a tremendous player having a back court a one-two punch of him and Anthony Edwards that’d be scary you’d keep someone like Rodico Bay you keep Denenzo you keep the rest of this roster together this would be such a fun team to watch like offensively speaking they’d be explosive they’d be dynamic and just as I mentioned before they’d be super fun to watch but John Morance’s last couple years have been a little bit turbulent in regards to his availability uh on the court um last year he barely played any games and if that happens moving forward what’s his value going to be like for the Timberwolves so it’s a bit of a risk if you ask me like I think Jada McDaniels is a tremendous player he fits this team perfectly nas Reed as well tremendous player now in this scenario if you’re able to bring back uh Julius Randall and sort of have a lineup next year of John Morant Anthony Edwards uh Dante De Vancenzo Julius Randle Rudy Gobear that’s pretty damn good but if Julius Randle departs Nazi departs in this case Jade McDaniels departs and those first round picks depart for a team in Minnesota that uh could be lacking a little bit of those i don’t know seems a little bit sketchy if you ask me now if you’re the Grizzlies I would probably do this trade like I love McDaniels i love Nas Reed those first round drafts if you hit on those guys you’re laughing but if John can stay healthy can stay on the court and maybe this Timber team can finally get over the hump and make the NBA championship round then this would be an awesome trade for both sides to make so this is going to sound crazy but if I had to pick a winner for this deal I would side with the Memphis Grizzlies but as always leave your thoughts
