so could the Cleveland Cavaliers be trading away Darius Garland to the Sacramento Kings this 2025 NBA off season well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself But this trade would see the Sacramento Kings receiving Darius Garland and Craig Porter and the Cleveland Cavaliers receiving Demar De Rozan Yonis Valenunis Keon Keon Ellis in a signing trade a 42nd overall draft pick this year a 2026 second and a 2027 second round draft pick So in my personal opinion this is actually a pretty reasonable and a pretty solid trade for both sides to make I actually probably like this a little bit more from the Cavaliers perspective because they had a pretty tremendous season last year And Darius Garland is sort of viewed as kind of the third or even the fourth best player um on this Cavaliers team behind Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley So if you’re the Cavaliers and in this case you’re adding a player in Demar De Rozan who would actually be like a perfect number two or a perfect number three option offensively speaking he actually had himself a better season than uh Darius Garwin last year offensively And the older that he gets the better that he can actually fit into this team and he just wants to win a championship by the time his career is all said and done So I think Rosen going to Cleveland makes perfect sense If you’re the Sacramento Kings I definitely understand um them wanting to go out there and acquiring a point guard Like Darius Garland’s still a tremendous player Like he’s a really good player Perhaps if you if you were to go to Sacramento he would gel perfectly with Zack Lavine as well as Demanus Sabonis So this could be a trade that actually does benefit both teams in different ways If you’re the Cavaliers you also have a lot of draft capital now uh which you can potentially uh trade up in the NBA draft maybe you want to go ahead and use those down the road to acquire um future players whatever the case may be This helps I think the Cavaliers um in the short term and kind of helps the Kings truthfully in the long term because they are getting back a player that is quite a bit younger and just as you know just as productive in my opinion uh when it’s all said and done So I think the winner of this deal is actually both teams I probably like it a little bit more though from the Cavaliers perspective But those are just my thoughts Leave yours down below
