wizards Nation what the hell is going on all these Ace Bailey draft rumors like I literally had to put my boss on hold today you know she was just like “Alfonso what’s the status of this project?” I was just like “Bitch I’ll tell you once I find out why Ace Bailey’s draft stock is slipping priorities.” I just think 6 foot n 18-year-old guys who can score like that the athleticism the intensity um you know 71 wings span there not many players who have dropped 38 39 point games in a in a Big 12 in a Big 10 game she’s probably watching this video too if only on you um I still have a job for now so two new mock drafts came out right espn and Bleacher Report and they both had Ace Bailey slipping to number six now granted I spoke about this a couple weeks ago or recently actually and I was just like there could be a chance if he slips but I honestly thought about it not being minuscule but like more of just like a small chance you know a small healthy chance but now as the draft seems closer things seem to be moving towards that direction you know granted it’s not set in stone it’s not set in stone because there’s a lot of smoke out there but in the ESPN mock draft which is obviously reputable um ESPN dropped lots of nuggets out there regarding some of our boys Ace Bailey regarding Ace Bailey I’m going to put it right here so they’re basically stating I’m gonna read it all out to you guys that sources say that Bailey’s camp has informed interested teams that they believe he’s a top three player in this draft but he also seeks a clear pathway to start perhaps feeling more comfortable that a team will trade up to get him at number three or number four or should he drop now keep that in mind clear path to stardom some teams question whether Ace Bailey has received assurances of being selected by a team currently outside the top five hello we’re outside top five um to a situation where he’s deemed more advantageous from a geographic and playing time perspective bailey is scheduled to conduct a workout with the 76ers later this week but it’s unclear if he plans to visit any other teams at this stage should the Sixers pass on this now this is the key nugget right here he could very well slide to number six or number seven two teams in Washington and New Orleans that are set to be highly intrigued in Ace Bailey and both situations to which appear to be plenty of minutes and shots to be had now granted if like as as a prospect like you want to go where you feel wanted you want to go where you feel like you can grow you know so I’m not entirely too mad at him at that aspect you know but and like I said this before like the Sixers like dude like the Sixers it’s not a fat it’s not a match it’s not a match the Sixers are win now ace Bailey is win the Wizards recently reported saying they feel comfortable that a a good prospect is going to fall to number six and then now I’m just like just let the board fall through let’s see what Philly does at three and if the player that you covet whether it’s Bailey Trey Johnson or Edgecomb if he’s falling and you think he’s going to fall to you at six then stay at six but if you feel like somebody’s going to jump you like the Pelicans then get them get them but don’t trade with Philly i’m now like I don’t want to I don’t I don’t want to trade with Philly now you know I said in my previous video I stock and this is according to Draft Express by the way ace Bailey’s draft stock has been falling due to his unwillingness to visit several teams and the fact that he’s been yet to conduct a single workout per Draft Express baileyy’s pre-draft workout strategy has perplexed some observers as he has yet to conduct a single known workout to date having declined invitations from several teams within his draft range and then reading other stuff appar like you know his agent apparently and I don’t want to post this because it hasn’t been you know verified yet his agent apparently was asking for money to be interviewed or something like that what the [ __ ] it’s a little weird it seems like from what I’m seeing this just is my take it seems like his draft stock is plummeting i want to say plummeting it’s falling but his agent and Bailey himself granted Bailey is only 18 so I’m putting this mostly on his agent is not handling this well or is not maneuvering well in this so-called plummet he’s adding more fire to it they’re going about it the wrong way whether you don’t want to do it you’re declining invitations to interested teams like you know like it it you’re just sending a bad vibe to teams that are interested but at the same time like I said earlier like you’re the prospect this is your NBA career you want to go somewhere where you feel like you’re going to you know be able to grow be able to be appreciated be able to have the best opportunities you know it kind of reminds you a little bit kind of reminds me a little bit to Alexar last year Alexar didn’t want to go to Atlanta he wanted to come to us could Ace Bailey Alexar are his way to freaking DMV i’m just saying like right here another article i mean they’re basically the same thing like he seems he wants to go somewhere where he gets more playing time you know a place a situation where he seems that he can grow and stuff like that i kind of disagree with how they’re handling this honestly um and I’m saying they because it’s not just Ace Bailey it’s his entire camp you know i I I feel like teams have already caught on to his not not just his overall game which has questions his basketball game but like with the way they’re maneuvering around this it’s not a good look um this is coming from a guy who as a Ace Bailey supporter it’s not a good look it’s not a good look um you know with that like Kakanupal on the other hand is going up it’s because in the ESPN mock draft they had a Konoopa going number four to Charlotte and then if you look at other mock drafts and you look at the reports they’re like saying Kakanup might actually go to Charlotte you know I even saw Kamal Malawash being mock draft uh being mocked to Charlie but in the Konoopa one with the ESPN they’re saying that you know the opponents believe that Koopa fits in nicely with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller there especially offensively i want to say this because this is my overall take this is my take on this if Ace Bailey is on the board at six and he falls to us run run to the podium [ __ ] it get Uber X get Uber X to the podium dude who cares the Pelicans want to get him too apparently but while you’re sitting in your Uber X to turn in that card you have to observe this never mind his overall basketball game being Ace Bailey’s about him because he’s the classic high risk high reward type prospect you have to acknowledge the red flag that is in your face and that is why the hell did he fall to six this was a guy who was a consensus top three pick all throughout the season is it could it be character concerns you have to acknowledge that as an organization you can you you can be happy that he’s there but you have to acknowledge it and you have to act upon it that’s the way I see it though but you know character concerns apparently this is possibly being floated around even after he said this in an interview come from workouts workouts i work out i work the shots a lot i mean the shots I work on in the workouts are shots I do in the game so what might be a bad shot to use you know work on it i work on it so that’s how I look at it so like I’m saying that’s my take if he’s at six run to the board but acknowledge the fact that this guy fell to six for a reason what is it find out acknowledge it and act upon it but here’s the thing though like in my first time in my life I’m 31 i am firmly confident that we have an environment to nurture young Bucks to nurture young prospects like the Chris Middleton thing like if Ace League gets drafted here I am putting Chris Middleton locker right next to his dude I I am like I’m that’s like a ma a pair match made in heaven right there because they you know they have you know similar bodies similar types but like you know their games are bit different you know but you know that who who much who greater of a mentor than Chris Middleton you know and also think about it this way the young bucks we got on our roster who’s a knucklehead do we have a Java McGee or a Nick Young on our roster right now out of all the young Bucks all the young bucks we have are wired straight mentally so he is coming into a great environment so those character concerns granted yes acknowledge it but act upon it and create plans to ensure that this doesn’t become a problem and to me like I would I would solely keep Chris Middleton just for Ace Bailey i don’t even resign him [ __ ] it you know but anyways enough about Ace Bailey dude that’s enough like the [ __ ] that’s like what 10 minutes about Ace Bailey like there’s just so much going on today i also I I also want to talk about honestly the the 18th overall pick because I haven’t really talked about that as much you know but I might do a video about that tomorrow but um next in my notes Ace Bailey so this trade recently happened why am I showing it to you guys well because the Pelicans seem to be interested in Ace Bailey there’s a report came out last Saturday the Pelicans want to trade up to get Ace Bailey the Pelicans now it looks like they’re gaining assets for a possible tradeup i feel like I should just share with you guys that’s the sentiment I got when I first saw this i was like “Oh [ __ ] they might they might leaprog us you know.” So I’m just stating um no conspiracy theories here actually yeah conspiracy theories here um next on the list is this report as well regarding Utah you know I’m going to read it right here and I’m going put it right here for you guys it’s from Jake Liser the Utah Jazz haven’t actively garnered interest from other teams about trading down and people around the league think the Wizards are trying to leaprog the Jazz with a trade up per Jack L fischer so it kind of coincides also like if the Wizards feel like the Pelicans are trying to jump them you might have to jump to number four so it kind of like you know coincides with like the the Pelicans report if the Pelicans want to take your guy you’re going to have to trade up then like so let’s say like there’s a lot of smoke right now it’s a lot of smoke because on one side they’re saying Bailey is going to fall to six but that’s a mock draft without trades on the other side in the NBA draft the Pelicans could very well jump us and get a guy like Ace Bailey or Trey Johnson or whoever they coveret so but enough about that this time for real um you know I want to talk about Market Smart market Smart now apparently they’re saying it’s being shopped around i shared a report on Saturday saying that the Kings seem to be interested in Marcus Smart um and I’m going put it right here this recently came out the list of odds regarding the next team that’s going to trade for Marcus Smart they’re putting the Kings again at top uh then the Lakers at number two Grizzlies again at number three which is a little bit weird uh coming from Grizzlies uh Clippers Heat and Raptors um you know Marcus Martin a contract year listen I said this in the previous video if you put a gun in my head be like dude choose between Marcus Smart or Chris Middleton i’m choosing Chris Middleton even though I love Marcus Smart as a leader i as a matter of fact I I really really love Marcus Smart as a leader but something about Chris Middleton man championship experience anyways and lastly um I also wanted to uh talk about Jeremiah Fierce since he’s in the thumbnail um some dude recently commented on my video yesterday saying “Dude are you gonna freaking trace back from your [ __ ] take from Jeremiah Fears and I was just No he’s a good dude he’s a good dude.” But um I’ve been thinking about Jeremiah Fierce i’ve been thinking about about him a lot um I initially was on him if we draft him because we seem to be look like we like him I can convince myself with this pick even though I trust Will Dawkins with with my life but now that sentiment is growing because my main reasoning with Jeremiah Fears is I was just like is his shot going to transfer you know 28.4% from the three on the healthy attempts per game but while watching and doing more research on Jeremiah fears I’m just like there’s a lot of indicators there to thinking that he can improve in the pros though i mean the the main obvious one is his free throw percentage man had an 85.1 free throw percentage then then a bunch of other stuff too that I was thinking about too i’m not really worried about his frame to be honest well defensively I am but there’s some reports that he gained recently 11 pounds of muscle you know but still defensively he’s probably going to get cooked in the pros but anyways that’s a whole another video but I’ve changed my sentiment on fears where I’m going from I can convince myself to liking him to now I’m just like I’ll be fine with him you know ideally he’s not my top he’s not he’s not my top guy yet like not even yet i don’t he’s not my top guy i’m just saying you know because my my to me I’m not I’m just le let me get one of the three let me get Ace Bailey Trey Johnson or VJ Edgecom give me one of those three and then you know with the second pick I’m still a team trade up for Derek Queen i want to get two lottery picks this upcoming draft i’m greedy i’m a greedy ass
