LIVE: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers – Game 6 | 2025 NBA Finals 🔥June 17, 2025
basketball kevin Harwin here with Greg Anthony and Clark Kellogg and our sideline reporter is David Aldridge so here’s Oklahoma City starting group in the back court we’ll see Gilis Alexander and Caruso the post pair form will be Williams and Homegrren and it’s Dort in at the three slot and for Indiana the forward spots with N Smith and Seakum Albertan in the back court nemar to his side and it’s Turner in at the center and these two teams are both aggressive attacking in transition well you’ve got to play to your scripts right but really the league in general is looking for early offense these teams no different now here is Hallebertton back to Seakkum turner with a screen for Seakum and he drops it in from the low post an extra element to Seakum’s game he can really handle the ball and even initiate offense [Applause] and the basket by Gilg Alexander and once he got to the 10 I think he was surprised to find himself that wide open well this early they should be showing a lot more energy on defense it’s not there it’s Nehard on the wing defended by Caruso [Applause] turner with a screen on Torch seakum passes to Turner four on the clock really adept at rolling after setting the screen turner a difficult cover in these pick and rolls outside Dort to the inside williams passed to Homegrren and the dunk by Homegrren and the one hand slam just looks so pretty when it’s in his hand and he’s the one doing the slam agreed he is smooth as silk even on a power finish part of what makes him unique guys that combination of power and polish [Applause] now here’s Dors kneesmith covering here’s Gilis Alexander the rebound by Turner man I can’t believe he blew that gimme guys well I know he’s frustrated about that hallebertton against Gilis Alexander and that’ll be two free throws coming up officials on the call with the foul and able to get himself to the line sga so crafty inside there to get the contact oklahoma City shooting their first free throws of the game on this trip to the line and one of the highlights last year for this group was the fact that they were so efficient from the charity strike that’s a huge factor and you know that just added to their confidence at the offensive end i mean knowing that free throw shooting was something they didn’t have to worry about gave them a lot of confidence to play freely he’s off on the first and this guy just does everything scores passes good rebounder just an allaround terrific basketball player [Applause] [Applause] now the free throw is good now leading by one here’s Hallebertton and with their offensive firepower had the Pacers Clark maxed out at that end of the floor there’s still a lot of room for this team to grow offensively Kevin a low rate of free throws is something they can improve on and a relatively low rate of threes and offensive boards those are areas that can get better i think there’s another level they have to reach yet here’s Gilgis Alexander following the basket by Pascal Siak oh here’s from the arc that’s a miss he’s made one and missed one hallebertton passes to Turner and two free throws coming up unable to get that one to go with all the contact that one on Gilg Alexander boy the hard work inside from Turner paying dividends a real handful for the defense down low first trip to the free throw line for him in this one take a break take a break two shots [Applause] that’s good from Turner and you know because Turner is such a good free throw shooter for his position defenses really can’t send him to the line too often he’ll make him pay [Applause] all free throws good from Turner and here’s Gilg Alexander he’ll bring it up for the Oklahoma City Thunder they trail by three and Mark Dagno calls timeout he wants to talk to his guys [Applause] heat heat heat [Applause] heat heat heat [Applause] hello [Applause] heat [Applause] pass to Dort oklahoma City moving it around here’s Gilis Alexander played in with a nice touch off the glass gilas Alexander’s got five now and good work inside sda will make more room for himself on the perimeter when he can be effective down low well if you don’t take care of the ball fellas that’s what can happen absolutely Greg that makes the turnover even more painful what you you mean the throw down at the end i’ll tell you what fellas i mean the highlight shows are going to pain them even more and the rejection by Hogren long 71 with that 76 wingspan homegrren can alter or block just about every shot in his vicinity williams finds Homegrren here’s Gilis Alexander and Oklahoma City again with the bucket boy he is looking confident love how they’re using him so far and you know what they’re going to keep using him i mean he’ll be the centerpiece of their offense today you can bank on that seakum and finished off by Seakkum and those are two loud points seakum flushes it without much effort tyrese Hallebertton is flatout special clark and you say it all the time he is an absolute machine on offense he really is an orchestrator a maestro of platinum level capability his turnover numbers outstanding he’s a guy that flirts with the 50 40 90 shooting splits and is going to lead the league in assist I think a better part of his career going forward that’s how good he is here’s Hallebertton after the made shot from Shay Gilis Alexander out to Turner back to Hallebertton just fine on the clock lets it go from deep caruso grabs the miss and even with good coverage defensively that time he has confidence to drill the three and stolen by Zakum down low locked loose taken away by Williams outside Dort williams has a screen for Dort that’s good from Williams the assist by Torch and guys let’s get your take on the hustle stats for the Thunder they’ve really been disruptive on the defensive end forcing turnovers and turning those turnovers into points at the other end on top of that they’re creating turnovers and taking advantage by converting on the offensive end and so it’s Rick Carle here calling timeout he wants to regroup and go over the strategy heat heat heat [Applause] heat heat [Applause] heat pacers trail by five and now we’ve got some time to check in from the sidelines you got for us DA thanks Kevin rick Carile and I did speak a few minutes ago he immediately mentioned that Sheay Gilis Alexander of course is at the top of their scouting report he told me the key to stopping SGA is defending without fouling easier said than done but try to keep him off the free throw line and try emphasis on try to make Shay a jump shooter a very tall task guys thank you David here’s Hallebertton after the made shot from Shay Gilis Alexander seakan’s shot is off that’s the kind of D you need when he’s got the ball near the hoop they were all over now here’s Caruso knee covering [Applause] the 11-footer nobody near Williams trains the three-pointer williams has got five nice play and you can see they’re gathering momentum and you know they need to stay aggressive here build the lead up while they’ve got the chance don’t waste this opportunity now here is Hallebertton hasn’t made one yet count that one that shot by Hallebertton not easy taking the hit and still finishing the play outside gilgis Alexander [Applause] there’s the triple connects from three-point range 14 points for him displaying intensity right off the opening tip especially on the offensive end tell you what forget about easing into the game they came out with guns blazing now here’s Turner seakum inside the three-point line it’s Chad Homegrren with the rebound caruso kicks to Kilis Alexander [Music] pass to Homegrren and a miss there on the triple and you don’t want to give up that kind of look too often to the paint here’s Nesmith kicks it out to Seakkum five on the clock turner with a screen on Gildish Alexander hallebertton with the bucket hallebertton a really good knockdown shooter which adds great value to this offense williams finds Caruso [Applause] outside Dort back to Caruso oklahoma City moving it around williams outside from deeper he misses the mark he’s now six of eight hallebertton passes to Siak they double team Seakkum and Turner kicks to Hallebertton that ball nice feed that time from Turner hallebertton’s got seven he’s such a creative scorer in close tyresese Hallebertton only needs a sliver of space to make you pay williams passes to Gil Alexander buries it from three-point range he’s got 17 and he likes to get in a rhythm early nice triple and Rick Carile decides to call timeout he’s ready to talk things through with the team [Applause] heat heat [Applause] so an entirely new group in now for Indiana jackson he’s checked in for Turner benedict Mathering comes in for Aaron Nesmith shepard’s checked in for Andrew Nemhard and it’s TJ McConnell in for Hallebertton and a new group in here for the Thunder hartinstein he’s checked in for Chad Homegrren wiggins comes in for Dort isaiah Joe he’s checked in for Alex Caruso and it’s Kase Wallace in for Gilg Alexander now here’s McConnell pass to Matan to the inside and the dunk by Jackson the more math he creates for others the more dangerous he becomes the Thunder leading by seven wallace the pass to Williams hartinstein with the screen for Williams from the strike out to Wallace williams a screen on McConnell shot clock at six second chance shot higgins outside the three matan with some nice defense it’s good he makes his first shot of the game and inside Matan makes great use of his agility developing some instincts for how to get around in traffic now here’s Williams he’s got five [Applause] pulls up on the elbow and yep finally drops after rolling around the rim williams has got seven points in the game punch counter punch impressive offensive production early on hey guys this is going to be fun now i mean we’ve got ourselves a shootout on tap here and you know we can’t measure Hart i mean he’s not as big as the other power forwards but his jumping ability and mindset is incredible after exploding onto the NBA radar in 2019 Seakkum Clark has been a sure thing on offense well you know what you’re going to get from Pascal Seakum i mean whether it’s in the open floor or in the half court sets he’s a guy you can count on delivering when you give him the ball in those situations his offense never takes a night off and so here is Indiana following the score by Oklahoma City yeah good job to take it right at the D yeah really left him no choice there i mean he had to foul and keep him from converting the easy bucket phasers have had two chances at the line already making them both [Applause] shooting two got to get it big get right here right here and the first one at the line is good indiana making some changes obie Toppins checked in for Seakum hallebertton subbed in for Shepard and then for Oklahoma City Kenri Williams he’s checked in for Jaylen Williams and Shane Gilis Alexander subbed in for Isaiah Joe back [Music] and he can’t hit the second the Thunder lead by six here’s Wiggins and it’s McConnell with the rebound and just no fear guys i mean he is willing to mix it up in the paint with the big boys and it’s Hallebertton missing oklahoma City’s gone three to seven from three-point range in the first quarter just one second between the shot clock and game clock shoots the three it’s rebounded by Oklahoma City gil Alexander with it 17 points in the game hardenstein with a screen on McConnell and here’s Gilis Alexander outside good on the triple gilas Alexander’s got 20 pick works well there not much resistance from the deep yeah that’s not the defense you need you got to be tougher defensively shay Gilgis Alexander guys has been on display for Oklahoma City they kept going to him again and again and he delivered with a monster quarter we’ve got more in store for you right after this [Applause] [Applause] and welcome back to the second quarter of action plenty of basketball left to play but this one has been one-sided so far what stands out to you from Oklahoma City in this one just stretching out the floor in that first they had the defense scrambling and you know what that’s what happens when you establish your three-point game early puts the defense right up against it they’ve got Toppen tj McConnell is out there with Tyrese Hallebertton then there’s Benedict Matan and it’s Jackson in at the five spot that’s the Pacers five now here’s Gilis Alexander field goal number nine he’s nine of 12 with that basket and this is SGA’s role he He’s out here to score and score often here’s Hallebertton toppin sets a screen for Hallebertton and with that the Thunder lead is cut down now to just nine in the bucket from Tophin i mean the number of points they’ve scored in the paint already here is eyeoping now here’s Waltz no scoring in this one hardenstein with a screen on McConnell offensive rebound and the dunk by Hartenstein nothing soft about the put back there and why chance it right take the dunk if you’ve got it well you know if nobody’s going to put a body on him then that’s going to be the result here’s Hallebertton seven points in the game over Wallace and a kind roll that time off the rim as that one falls hallebertton’s got nine whenever that mid-range jump shot is available Hallebertton is going to take advantage of it he’s a really good passer but also an opportunistic score and it’s out of bounds oklahoma City able to retain possession here great instincts from him to get a hand on that pass and tip it out and you know even though they didn’t come up with the steal that’s still a nice defensive play now here’s Gilas Alexander 22 points for him and Greg you talk about toughness a compete factor how does a team create that culture call it critical mass when you have the entire organization and enough players committed to that kind of effort everyone has to meet that level [Applause] [Applause] that’s good from Gilas Alexander [Applause] [Applause] so he gets them both second quarter we’re a little over a minute and a half in [Music] that’s it and the Oklahoma City leaders get down to nine in the bucket from Jackson outstanding execution good job working the ball inside now here’s Wallace still yet to score and the layup’s good off the glass no issues on that one good work all around the Pacers have gone a nice three of three to start the seven hallebertton finds Toppin matherine passes to McConnell to the middle five to shoot he muscles it in through the contact and they call the foul and he’s on his way to the free throw line great job of screening there nice job to take it to the rim and get the finish mark when you think of siblings who have played in the NBA the Lopez brothers and now the Tophen brothers come to mind can only imagine how cool a feeling that is to be able to play in the NBA with your brother it’s a dream come true for anybody to get to the highest level of pro basketball and then to have a couple of players from the same family doing it together come on man doesn’t get any better than that [Applause] free throw is good by Choppin and here’s Wallace he’ll bring it up for Oklahoma City they’ve led by as many as 11 points pass to Gilg Alexander lets it go from 11 again oklahoma City and he had a good look and Gilg Alexander made it pay off outside Jackson now Matin it’s good the assist from Jackson just reliable guys he’s just always trying to make the right play williams sends a screen for Gilg Alexander and they call an illegal screen here beyond the leaning you could see his feet more set on that screen easy call yeah I agree you know sometimes that can be a tough call for the refs to make but not that time it was easy there turner’s checked in for Indiana andrew Nehard comes in for TJ McConnell homegrren he’s checked in for Oklahoma City alex Crusoe comes in for Wallace and Rick Carile decides to call timeout he wants a minute here to get things straightened out with his team [Applause] heat heat heat [Applause] heat [Applause] pacers trail by eight hallebertton finds Turner turner with a screen on Wiggins here’s Mafarin and the Pacers can’t get it to go not sure what what the D was doing there clearly a breakdown you can ill afford to give a guy like him that good a look pass to Caruso hartinstein with the screen for Caruso [Applause] goes back up and Hartinstein finishes inside hardenstein’s got six points how about the perseverance there the extra effort on that offensive glass [Applause] hallebertton kicks to Topin [Applause] it’s Nehard on the wing defended by Caruso toppin good defensively there was a lack of aggressiveness and it really made it easy for him to knock that shot down and here is Julius Alexander 26 points for him [Applause] hartinstein against Turner wiggins outside lock at six [Applause] and there’s Gilas Alexander that’s good on the assist by Wiggins boy he’s playing out of his head nailing everything and the defense is scrambling to try to stop him right now and so far no goal now here is Hallebertton he’s got nine pass to Tophin hallebertton feeling it out a bit from the arc it’s rebounded by Hartinstein hardenstein’s got his seventh rebound here tonight oklahoma City moving it around outside Gilgis Alexander [Applause] over Hallebertton hardenstein passes to Gilgis Alexander can’t connect from short range toppins no one around him off target from outside the Thunder leading by nine wiggins outside [Applause] and foul on the shot he’ll shoot two at the free throw line it’s going to be on Miles Turner the Thunder have shot 75% at the line tonight going three for four [Applause] rethrow good wiggins and some changes here for the Pacers pascal Seakum comes in for Choen and it’s kneemith in for Benedict Matanie Williams he’s checked in for the Thunder [Applause] so he picks up just one from the line that time pacers trail by 10 allebertton outside inside and Clark as we watch Aaron Nesmith he was such a great shooter in college and it took him a while to find his stroke in the NBA and you know what Kevin nothing really surprising about that most players struggle to find their game in the NBA to find their role in the NBA but N Smith he’s found his rhythm and his role and he uh clearly is dangerous from behind the arc that’s good from Nith Dort he’s checked in for the Thunder [Applause] [Applause] that one misses the Thunder leading by nine pass to Homer and it’s Gilis Alexander in the corner [Applause] basket counts gilgage Alexander’s got the lead up to 11 now for the Thunder are unwilling to let up even for a moment that’s his killer instinct just spanning the flames yeah I love the fact he doesn’t play the score he just keeps coming attack mode he doesn’t know how to step off the gas pedal a moment now to hear from our sideline reporter Hall of Famer David Aldridge david thank you Kevin now Pascal Seakum is nominally a power forward but his versatility at both ends of the floor allows him to play a number of roles seakkum says that’s where the NBA has been going it’s always positionless basketball and I feel like it can do anything and in today’s game Kevin that means tremendous value for Seattle back to you doesn’t it my goodness David he is something else thank you very much now here’s Gilg Alexander he has 30 pass to Williams and stolen by Seakum hallebertton outside this one for three gets the three-pointer to fall hallebertton’s got five points in the quarter tyresese Hallebertton take a bow young fella you deserve it you have been outstanding [Applause] here’s Gilas Alexander goes up and lays it nice and easy gil Alexander’s got 32 points a super high percentage shot there you just can’t allow him to get that close allebertton outside and oh boy a lot of contact there but he gets the call and will shoot two hallebertton so versatile and skilled this guy finds ways to keep the defense off balance pretty consistently for Indiana they had gone five of seven from the free throw line in the game take a break take a break two shots [Applause] first one falls for him i tell you one of the things I’ve noticed about Hallebertton is his endurance man it is off the charts he’s always pushing the pace and really outworking other guys most of the time he’s constantly revving up the motor and taking things up a notch kase Wallace he’s checked in for the Thunder hellbertton hits them both free throw shooting is about mechanics confidence and your mental approach he’s locked in from there most every night [Music] homeurn against Turner dort passes to Homegrren dort a screen on Turner homegrren wide open sinks the three-pointer homegrren’s got five points so far and with that threat of the outside jumper Homer generates space for this offense turner finds Hallebertton jacks up a three a shot by Nehard no good jordan left side now here’s Caruso defense is right there oklahoma City moving the ball around just four to shoot from deep Williams and again Oklahoma City with the triple and guys there are some you can give that shot to but but let’s be clear he’s not one of them terrible job there by the D now here is Hallebertton 14 points for him turner with a screen on Wallace hallebertton for three it’s good from long range hallebertton’s got a pair of triples in the second now for the Pacers wallace outside back to Williams shooting foul as the whistle blows he’ll shoot two free throws oh the officials are all over that one clearly a foul i mean didn’t give him any choice but to blow the whistle i mean you got to play without fouling [Applause] and that one falls for Williams the Pacers making a change here mcconnell’s checked in [Applause] and Williams drops them both and so it’s McConnell with it that’ll bring it up for the Indiana Pacers 11-point game he’s got ball it’s Turner high post [Applause] just five to shoot here’s Nemo caruso grabs the miss you can’t look at the result of that shot they’ll take that whenever they get it well you know I hear you that’s a good look but when you’re that wide open I think you got to knock it down mcconnell against Wallace they set the screen with the step back [Applause] siakum kicks to McConnell pulls it up near shot is good you know they’ll take the points but I’m sure coach would prefer a higher percentage look next time here’s Williams pascal Seakum grabs the miss [Applause] pass to N Smith back to McConnell seat left and the three off target and you could tell he thought that triple was going to fall [Applause] here is Williams 15 points in the game back to Dort hey who’s watching now here’s Caruso mard covering Williams and that one off the back of the rim and in williams has got the lead up to 14 now for the Thunder [Applause] and Denise Smith [Applause] right side and here is Turner and it’s slammed in by Turner what athleticism from Turner my goodness he loves getting chances to throw it down like that mcconnell again [Applause] pass to Dort here’s Homegrren shoots over Turner and Homegrren the bucket on the assist by Williams williams has got four assists in the game and even with a big lead he remains focused on the task at hand yeah and you know that is some shaky and shoddy defensive work they’ve got to tighten it up and that does it for the first half of playing thunder lead by 14 and now let’s catch up with David Aldridge who’s standing by from the sideline all right Dave thanks very much with Rick Carile coach what needs to happen on the defensive end to get back on track well a lot of things needed to get better uh our level force defensively is not there we got to pick it up you know we got to play with a lot more collective force we’ll see if you can bring the noise more as the game goes on thanks very much back to you thanks for the great interview David and we’ll be back for the third quarter of basketball following halftime [Applause] [Music] heat [Applause] heat [Applause] and with a big gap on the scoreboard the second half begins with very different goals for these teams one side trying to mount a comeback one side trying to protect their lead you know Shay Gilis Alexander has been exceptional here tonight guys no problems fighting his way to the rim in this one a lot of points in close yeah you know what guys they gave him too many free runs to the hoop in the first half i think they’ve got to be a lot tougher on him body him up be physical with him [Applause] here’s Gilgus Alexander 14 points their largest lead in the game taking a look at the Thunder in the back court we’ll see Gilis Alexander and Caruso dort and Williams up in the forward positions and it’s Homegrren in at the five [Applause] hallebertton up top gilg Alexander covering nimhard the pass to Seakkum here’s Nesmith that three off the mark the Thunder leading by 14 pass to Williams seakum pulls it in and Siak has got the ball here for Indiana hallebertton against Gilis Alexander and it’s Hallebertton missing oklahoma City has gotten off 12 shots from beyond the arc tonight hitting seven of them gil just Alexander passes to Caruso the shots good from Gilis Alexander it’s a great move and he catches the defense completely offguard yeah if that’s a harbinger of things to come he’s looking at having a very big second half turner finds Seakkum hallebertton on the wing just Alexander covering they get the rebound out to Turner that’s good and it’s Hallebertton with the assist hallebertton’s got three assists now in this one outside Dort pass to Caruso outside Dors Homer with a screen on Hallebertton and it’s Gil Alexander missing i’m shocked that didn’t turn into three points i mean he makes you pay on those nearly every time the shot by Turner no good and not allowing the shooter even an inch of breathing room on that one and guys that’s exactly the kind of high impact defense they want to see out of him pacers trail by 14 down low doesn’t get it to drop for him good D by Gilas Alexander here’s Williams good D by Siako for Indiana they’ve gone only one of six in the field in the third quarter not how they pictured the half start back to Mhard takes it out to Seakkum and the free ball is good seakum’s got 11 points yeah you got to get out on that seakum demonstrating that ability to hurt you from beyond [Applause] caruso looking for an opening williams passes to Dort oklahoma City moving it around clock is at three here’s Caruso the Thunder with another miss indiana’s gotten a lot of looks from outside tonight five of 12 and he gets the whistle two free throws coming up and Turner’s length causes defenses all kinds of problems i mean he really uses that length extremely well to draw fouls he’s gone two for two at the line so far [Applause] and he knocks down the first one [Applause] that one misses so he goes one for two the Thunder leading by 10 here’s Gilis Alexander got it from 16 ft gil Alexander’s got four points in the quarter on a dime shay got right where he wanted for that shot [Applause] pass to Turner takes a three thunder with the rebound caruso’s got four rebounds in this game williams passes to Gilis Alexander kick it out kick it out caruso with the ball mard covering [Applause] now here’s Caruso guarded closely and he hits it just before the shot clock expires and the Thunder lead by 14 for Indiana they’ve gone just 25% from the field here in the second half they’re two of eight [Applause] hallebertton with it williams picks him up seakum for three gilgis Alexander pulls it in [Applause] hallebertton against Dort [Applause] pass to Gilgis Alexander outside Williams with a screen on Seakum here’s Williams and it’s held in by Tyrese Hallebertton now kneemith Turner kicks to Hallebertton over Gilgis Alexander and with that the Thunder lead is cut down now to just 12 on the basket from Hallebertton gildas Alexander passes to Homegrren [Applause] back to Gildas Alexander hits it from three-point range gilg Alexander’s got 39 well this is why SCA is a focal point of this offense because of that ability to score turner with a screen for Hallebertton fires from deep and with that the Thunder lead is cut down to 12 points again in the basket from Turner and an eye for an eye both teams working to stretch the floor nothing like answering back one team gets three you fire three of your own boom here’s Williams basket made that gives him seven field goals in 13 tries big miscommunication on defense he recognizes it and quickly takes advantage boy the defense looks shell shocked i mean they’re on the ropes right now on their heels hallebertton finds Seakkum turner with a screen for Seakkum no good on the triple oklahoma City leading by 14 here’s Dort the kick out to Williams oh good with the triple not quite enough defense that time around just lucky he was off and that one goes out of bounds nice touch by Gilas Alexander benedict Matan he’s checked in for the Pacers and Oklahoma City with a change here too arinstein’s checked in here’s [Applause] Nemhard [Applause] turner with a screen on Caruso to the middle and Turner throws it down strong move to the 10 trying to get his guys going hard not to get motivated GA right when your teammate makes that kind of play yeah you know when you’re looking to close the gap you need guys who will take it upon themselves to step up take the initiative and make something happen and there’s Gilas Alexander that’s good on the assist by Homegrren and running offense through Homegrren great court awareness and really unselfish and a wide open look for Hallebertton buries the long range jumper hallebertton’s got 22 points i tell you what what a good thing that he showed up today because without him this thing would already be over williams against Matan now here’s Homegrren from the ark gets it to go from beyond the arc homegrren’s got 10 points in the game and so it’s Rick Carw here calling timeout looking for a breather and maybe just one or two things to talk about and let’s head over to the sideline and catch up with David Aldridge well Kevin we are seeing a new generation taking over the NBA commissioner Adam Silver says stars can be created much quicker these days sports is a meritocracy and talent gets rewarded with a social media community in the billions for basketball and a global market for talent new and different stars end up emerging kevin which is always good for the game great to see and David a great report again from you thank you [Applause] heat heat [Applause] jackson he’s checked in for Indiana tj McConnell comes in for Hallebertton wiggins has checked in for the Thunder [Applause] get out get off and so here is Indiana they trail by 14 back to Seakum pass to Mean [Applause] it’s rebounded by Oklahoma City hartinstein’s got nine rebounds now tonight double team on Williams now here’s Gas Alexander wow he takes it in and the dunk by Keljas Alexander and a threelevel score that time sga takes it all the way on the wing matan down to five on the shot clock and the rebound goes to the Thunder [Applause] now Caruso [Applause] lays it up and banks it in caruso’s got four points this quarter and he found a soft spot in the D on that possession will it go two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul that one on Williams and right there you see the impact of Seakum’s length so tough to defend once he gets to his spot and a moment to look at the scoring approach in terms of where the points are coming from for the Thunder credit them for not settling i mean they’ve been in attack mode off the dribble all game long and thus far it’s paying off they’ve also found a lot of shots at the arc in this one and allowing their good shooters to tee it up throw good seakum Brown has checked in for Andrew Nehar and Oklahoma City also making a switch wallace has checked in for Alex Caruso [Applause] [Music] seakum hits them both [Applause] and Gildas Alexander’s got the ball here for Oklahoma City to the paint the kick out to Williams his three-pointers off the mark pacers trail by 16 [Music] over to the wing seakum with it he’s picked up by Gilas Alexander matan again wiggins matan good matan’s got six points good awareness by Matan saved his team a possession they did not want to turn that over kilus Alexander that’s a two-pointer pascal Seakum grabs the miss seakum’s got his seventh rebound of the game with that last one mcconnell against Williams wallace right side pass to Hartenstein gilg Alexander against Jackson he gets it in there gil Alexander’s got 45 points if you’re waiting for him to miss when he’s that open you’re going to be in for a long wait [Applause] brown the pass to Matherine pulled the shot a little left but the bounce goes his way and it’s eight points here for Benedict Matan the Thunder leading by 14 pass to Williams mcconnell against Gilg Alexander back to Williams and the call on the shot it sends in to the line it’s going to be on Siakob the Thunder have scored six points from their eight attempts at the line so far [Applause] shooting two [Applause] and that one falls for Williams isaiah Joe he’s checked in for Kase Wallace [Applause] and Williams drops them both now here’s McConnell he has yet to score [Applause] pass to Seakum they double team Seakum and Isaiah Joe picks up the foul that’s his first foul and Indiana making a change here shepard’s checked in and Oklahoma City with a change here too wallace has checked in [Applause] indiana moving it around [Applause] jackson setting the pick here for McConnell just fine on the clock his first shot coming late wiggins with the rebound the defense made an impact right there definitely got him uncomfortable going up with it outside for Gilis Alexander hardenstein with a screen on McConnell gilg Alexander good pick works well there not much resistance from the D yeah that’s not the defense you need you got to be tougher defensively and so it’s the Oklahoma City Thunder holding a big 18-point lead to close the quarter their strategy has been clear tonight work the ball inside get shots in the paint and now they are scoring with ease and we’ve got more M2K Sports coming your way after this break [Applause] and we reach the fourth quarter in a game that may be already out of hand [Applause] hallebertton is out there with TJ McConnell then it’s Isaiah Jackson then there’s Tuffen and it’s Matin and at the small forward position so that’s the group out there for Indiana watch him here’s Wallace and the rejection by Jackson mcconnell passes to Matan and he throws it down hard with one hand and one of the better athletes in his draft class matine with quick lift off the floor and then the power to hammer it home and there’s the foul it’ll go on TJ McConnell that’s his first foul i I mean I like the call i thought the defense was just there a little late yeah it looked like it i mean he kind of slid underneath as he got to the spot too and the replay demonstrating once again how aggressive that defense was you know that’s about as good a defensive play as you’re going to see instant reaction to get a hand on the shot beautifully done and the shot goes down man he’s got a lot of firepower right now i mean what a half he’s having and so it’s Hallebertton who brings up the ball for the Pacers it’s an 18-point game tapping a screen on Wallace and he lays it straight in hallebertton’s got 24 hallebertton such a special player and his rush hour handles round out his game [Applause] gilg Alexander looking around to the inside he’s looking for Hardenstein and finds him boy you’ve got to appreciate the passing there results and a great look terrible final quarter of play about a minute and a half off the clock into it pass to Hallebertton toppin sets a screen for Hallebertton six to shoot and here is Topphen launches a three sinks the triple just straight tricking the defender with the shot fake this is how it’s done here’s Gilis Alexander and the rejection by Jackson inside there’s McConnell that one no good good D by Gilas Alexander [Applause] just under two and a half minutes gone here in the final quarter to the middle and contact on the shot so he’ll be shooting free throws here and Gilgus Alexander understands how to draw contact especially when he’s looking to score [Applause] take a break take a break two shots [Applause] the first free throw is good andrew Nehard’s checked in for Indiana alex Caruso he’s checked in for Oklahoma City [Applause] gilis Alexander hits them both just a little under two and a half minutes of pass now here in the fourth [Applause] hallebertton with it outside Matin jackson a screen on Caruso and the shot goes in that’s seven points for Isaiah Jackson when Matan’s creating for his teammates his offensive impact goes way up wallace the pass to Gilg Alexander over Hallebertton and again no good by Oklahoma City now here’s Matan the fast break chance to Hallebertton nice job by Hallebertton showing you the toughness that time going right into that defense and drawing the foul [Applause] and he makes the first and the Thunder making a switch here joe’s checked in [Applause] hellbertton hits them both oklahoma City leading by 13 stolen by Jackson and he’s going up for the alley hoop and Tophin throws it down and maybe that’ll trigger them impossible not to get pumped up after that yeah well you can see the immediate reaction of the guys on the bench they are pumped up and that’s what those alley oops will do for a team ignition switch ignited shots good by Williams and you’re not going to pass up that kind of So it’s the Pacers now trailing by 13 albert passes to Jackson and Jackson throws it down what a pass by Hallebert he’s so comfortable running the screen and roll excellent the Thunder have gone three of seven from the floor in the fourth that’s a 42% mark in the quarter martin Shine finds Caruso here’s Joe [Applause] and here is Caruso shot clock at five the three-pointer no good pacers trail by 11 here’s Matarin and a lot of contact on that one so he’ll shoot two here and battling against the interior of that defense nice to see that Matan has that toughness [Applause] on the miss and the first one drops boy you look at the toolkit Matan has coupled with his production and his maturity boy he’s got a chance to dominate in this league and Oklahoma City making a change here williams has checked in he doesn’t get the second one the Thunder leading by 10 outside Williams here’s Gilis Alexander good and it’s Williams who picks up the assist gil Alexander’s got 53 well he’s been doing it all night why not go back to him and no letup in him either guys i mean he wants to continue to expand that lead and as long as he’s the one taking the shots that lead’s going to expand mathan [Applause] Hallebertton for three oh drew the foul and almost hit the three-point bucket but he’ll go to the line to shoot three that one on Gilas Alexander [Applause] and he’s good on the first of three and some changes here for the Pacers miles Turner he’s checked in for Isaiah Jackson and it’s Pascal Seakum in for Tophen and then for Oklahoma City Chad Homegrren comes in for Williams and it’s Williams in for Isaiah Joe and he sinks the second [Applause] it’s good and he’s 100% from the line thus far for Oklahoma City they’ve gotten just under 45% of their attempts to drop in the fourth or of nine to the paint [Applause] siaka gets to Tony misses the three the Thunder leading by nine here’s Williams hangs in midair and converts on the double clutch layup williams has got 23 points nice find by Gil Alexander he reads the floor so well here’s Nemo and foul on the shot and he’ll shoot two at the free throw line [Applause] that free throw good from Nemhar [Applause] [Applause] so he makes one of two as the second one misses williams gets the bucket 25 points in the game and the lead score demonstrating once again how fast he can fill it up gilas Alexander against Hallebertton down low and it’s slammed in by Turner it’s been like this all night for both teams the offenses having their way any lol in the action so far has been shortlived because there have been nothing but buckets in this one pass to Williams now here’s Homegrren off target with his three seakum outside that’s good and it’s Hallebertton with the assist hallebertton’s got his seventh assist in the game rise and fires this is Seakum’s attitude off the catch and with these results you understand why and the basket by Gilg Alexander how good is that i mean he can make a defender look foolish at times at the elbow it’s Turner hallebertton with it williams picks him up and it’s Hallebertton missing you know I’d have been very impressed if he had got that one to go tough D to the inside here’s Gilis Alexander a shot no good good work defensively by Turner nehard with it working on Homegrren pass to Mathan now Siakum defended by Caruso hallebertton for three a three-pointer is right on target hallebertton’s got 32 points talk about confidence hallebertton oozing with it no hesitation off the catch and shoot there and Mark Dagnel calls timeout and he wants to see some changes out there right away and right now Aaron Nesmith has checked in for Benedict Nathan and Oklahoma City also making a switch dort he’s checked in for Williams and now the latest from our reporter David Aldridge thanks guys i was able to hear Mark Dagnel talking to his team during the break now coach told his team “We’re up take care of the ball don’t give them the game playing smart basketball will clinch a victory for us guys thank you David williams passes to Gilgis Alexander and the foul called on Pascal Siako that’s foul number two for him a sensational block that definitely deserves another look and when you’re behind in the game that’s what you’ve got to do contest every shot and get stops and so it’s Oklahoma City with it they led by as many as 18 points back to Dort to the middle for the three it’s held in by Tyrese Hallebertton hallebertton’s got five rebounds tonight [Applause] [Music] the first one falls [Applause] got to get it let’s get it and both free throws good for Nehon the Thunder leading by four caruso the pass to Williams count it 27 points here for Jaylen Williams great job of screening there nice job to take it to the rim and get the finish and Seakim has it in the corner off target from three-point range not quite enough defense that time around just lucky he was off gilas Alexander against Hallebertton five to shoot here’s Caruso and the rebound goes to the Pacers turner’s got rebound number seven for him tonight here’s Hallebertton up and in on the layup hallebertton’s got 17 points here in the second half hallebertton coming up big no rest in that man’s game he takes the shot and makes the shot anthony Smith and Knee Smith with the slam oh and he he went for the two-hander on the slam using some muscle some urgency from him there sure i get the feeling guys that he may be sensing that this is a critical time in this game over in the corner Williams pass to Caruso the Thunder with another miss indiana trailing here allebertton outside turner with a screen on Torch hallebertton for three it’s Chad Homegrren with the rebound homegrren’s got double digit rebounds now in the game and Hallebertton’s got the ball here for the Pacers to tie it up and they pick up two hallebertton’s got 36 and that’s right in his wheelhouse looking to make an impact when it counts you know they want the ball in his hands here because they trust him to hit all the big shots here’s Gus Alexander two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul it’s going to be on Siak [Applause] first free throw is good and that gives them the lead [Applause] second one is good in both at the line and it’s a two-point ball game and you really can’t say enough about his composure in the big moments as cruel as they come hallebertton drives in and the rejection by Williams with the ball hallebertton picks him up and there’s the basket whistle blows and a chance for a three-point play going to the line for one speed and agility guys i mean he went right to the defense and took it to the rim [Applause] and that one falls for Williams the and one puts a little extra insurance on their lead what a good play takes a step back here’s Hallebertton banked in off the glass hallebertton’s got 38 points hallebertton one of those young guys that you want with the rock in his hand at crunch time he always seems to deliver seems to have a knack for hitting guys in their spots his vision excellent and so it’s Rick Carw here calling timeout pivotal moment in this game he’s not taking any chances he’ll call time homer against Turner good D by Homegrren floats it up for Williams and it’s Williams finishing it off relentless in their approach even with the game firmly in hand and you know until that final buzzer sounds I mean you’ve got to treat every possession like it’s crucial pop it baby kneesmith the pass to Hlebertton it counts oh and that cuts the lead to just five it all started with the pass that’s what coaches love to see ball movement and now they decide to foul intentionally good on the first and that increases their lead to six so he goes two for two at the lock and it’s a seven-point game you know important for him to come through at the line there because they want to expand that lead seiakum finds Nemhar fires for three [Applause]
