so could the Denver Nuggets be trading away Michael Porter Jr to the Portland Trailblazers this 2025 NBA off season Well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayworld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Denver Nuggets receiving Jeremy Grant and a 2029 firstround draft pick and the Portland Trailblazers receiving Michael Porter Jr now in my personal opinion this would be a pretty good trade for the Blazers to make especially too uh with the Blockbuster news yesterday of Drew Holiday uh getting traded for Anthony Simons if the Blazers want to get a little bit younger and shake up their team even further I think getting rid of Jeremy Grant’s contract getting back a good young talented Michael Porter Jr as well as attaching a first round draft pick in the future it shakes this team up pretty nicely and makes the team a little bit different heading into the 202526 season so I think from the from the Blazers perspective it’s a pretty good gamble especially defensively speaking this would be a nice little upgrade for them they of course got Drew Holiday yesterday who defensively speaking is pretty talented himself so if the Blazers want to surround you know Scoot Henderson uh Shaden Sharp etc DeAndre Eaton with a bit of a new look a good three and Dwing like Michael Porter Jr I think he fits timeline pretty well and will make this team better at the end of the day also too more importantly they get out from underneath the contract of Jeremy Grant now you can make the argument that Michael Porter Jr’s contract isn’t as you know that much better but he’s a younger player the upside is there i would probably bet on that happening compared to the Jeremy Grant now from the Nuggets perspective I think getting Jeremy Grant plus first round draft pick isn’t terrible now does it make this team that much better I don’t think so i think if they are going to be trading away Michael Porter Jr they would have to get back multiple trade assets to do so um I don’t think a one for one trade to this magnitude really changes that you know too much in my opinion uh for this Nuggets team especially too uh with what the owner you know Josh Cranky or Josh Kroni uh what he came out today saying that if they get over the second apron due to injuries etc and Nicole Joic becomes available for trade this would be a disaster so I don’t see the allure for them acquiring Jeremy Grant’s contract a player that’s on the wrong side of 30 so I think that if they are making a trade for Michael Porter Jr they want to get back multiple draft picks and or young players to create more depth in in regards to this roster and not take on that much money so in my personal opinion the winner of this deal would be the Portland Trailblazers but as always leave your thoughts
