so we’ll go three let’s go to the text board before we get to the telephone calls what’s the text board saying today Ray all right we got some people chiming in with their plans for this draft specifically not interested in another foreign big man who disappears in crucial moments zero rebounds in the final four game and four fouls and could only play 21 minutes no thanks one don’t go judge a guy by one game not one game you can’t judge a guy by one game that’s what I will caution all right go ahead all right another one here you have to draft the best available at three it’s Ace Bailey he didn’t work out for any NBA team so the snub for the personal visit isn’t a big deal ace is a Sixer book it all right they’ll take Ace now much to your sugar Ray if they take Ace right yeah i mean I just don’t think he wants to be here and I’d rather not be in the business of guys who don’t want to be here yeah but that doesn’t matter to me he’ll learn to be here once he starts getting an NBA paycheck once he starts seeing this arena and the excitement in this arena we’ll see if he wants to be here or not lot of excitement around here right now for the Sixers there still is excitement in that arena for reasons that are unclear to me there still is a pretty good crowd that goes down there and watches them all right all right what else now we got someone vouching for Khan Cadiple he could put the ball on the floor and create he has a solid bag of handles and shot creation rewatch the tape come on he can’t create if he’s creating he’s creating in college he’s not going to create at this level this is a this is an entirely different defensive level here you tell me Khan Canipple is going to create and get the ball to the basket in this league come on now and we got someone of Malawat I think makes a lot of sense you know here’s a guy who’s got a lot of raw talent you can’t teach height and when he’s ready the Sixers should have had an opportunity to rebuild a little bit i mean do you think that they’re in rebuilding mode and just not telling us no they think they’re not in rebuilding mode i think they should be in rebuilding mode they they they still adhere to this idea that they’re contenders yeah i I don’t know personally I think my is selling snake oil but whatever i don’t think he sells snake oil i think he genuinely believes that what he’s doing is proper and that’s even worse than snake oil because that shows me he’s misguided yeah I can never read between the lines to whether he’s selling us a bill of goods or if he really believes he’s admitted he he’d rather have stars stars win is what he says so even if they’re aging stars he he’s okay with it and I go “In what world do aging stars ever pay dividends they never do in this league this is a young fast league.” Yeah nobody’s giving away a player that’s playing well you know we seem to have a an ability to find players that are ready to uh crash and burn and you know that’s that’s a that’s a problem obviously with talented guy did he watch the Indiana Pacers Oklahoma City Thunder were they young and fast did they defend did they get down and and push the pace yet that’s what they did did they have a center that has to bog down the the their offense in the half court no yeah I I agree he He doesn’t seem to be watching the game the way they’re playing it now and it’s disturbing it’s really disturbing well I I I agree i I that’s why I wondered you know whether they secretly feel one way but they’re telling us something else you know what from what I understand he runs the whole thing he’s got a bunch of people in that front office and he doesn’t listen to any of them it’s a a Mory production what I’ve been told all right here’s your general knowledge to start it off Greg all
