The Thunder CAN’T Become A DYNASTY

The Thunder CAN’T Become A DYNASTY

the problem with the dynasty for a small market team is you’re handicapped by pay if you’re winning people got to get paid now when you think about Spurs they wasn’t paid and that’s what people don’t realize genobi wasn’t paid like a Hall of Famer tony Parker wasn’t paid like a Hall of Famer right when he got paid he had two championships he signed for 60 million after my second year I signed for 60 million so you know what I mean you know what I mean he got No no no but what I’m saying is if I sign for 63 million after my second year and his contract is up and he got two rings if he signs for the hundred that he’s supposed to they can’t build the way so I mean you’re going to have to convince them to take some real bad pay cuts for you to keep it as a dynasty
but can’t you like do something with the contracts get it all up front in the back end
well the good thing about them man they they can keep their core and but they got cuz they got draft capital man like so they can that’s the thing like a lot of them dudes stilling they rookie deals now so they got them for the next two years
but that’s what I’m saying the creative dynasty you got them for two years where they are but that money kick in so if you sign him for 360 something the other for two something the other one for two something
as long as you keep your your clay your Draymond
but they got to be paid one’s got to get screwed Oh

  1. They definitely not gonna be able to pay everyone they want to keep their city is a small market team city they simply have to do what they been doing and go thru and smart trades

  2. In order for them to continue to play great, it's not all about the core, they need to keep their bench intact or upgrade it a little bit throughout the "Dynasty". I really don't believe the players will actually max out their contracts if they want to play and win together. OKC will fine, they have the money and draft capital to replace whatever they made need or lose. I believe in their draft system and it's one of the best in NBA history

  3. My as fan when they be like 40 million 60 million is small……shit give me a small 60 mil 😂😂

  4. If I was the owners, I will void caught the NBA for a quick second and tell them they got a reconstruct that goddamn salary cap

  5. So much money has gotten thrown around that a lot of these kats think 60 million for playing basketball professionally is nothing… a game they'd play whenever they could FOR FREE if they worked a regular job

  6. The times were different. Yall got money without proving yourself. Tony had to prove himself

  7. If you care about winning rings then salary doesn’t matter. Winning rings matter. You got your money sure but some people don’t care about the money. They will be remembered as a dynasty forever. You won’t be remembered.

  8. Funny u say that but your team was small market too and couldn’t have given that $60m to anyone else, that’s why you got it! Why u think Brad Beale has his contract? WIZARDS… nobody else pays guys like this to stay

  9. The Spurs core players preferred winning over making the max amount of money possible. Players that try to get the max amount of money never win chips in any sport.

  10. See that’s the problem yes yall gotta get paid but 100 mill to 360 mill for one person is kinda crazy to me. Like if I’m in the NBA & the face of my franchise. I’m letting the front office know & they guys know. “Aye we get to live our dream playing the game we love so we’re gonna win titles together based on the people we draft or trade for using only picks & cash. We as a collective will only take 1 million per season with 5-10 million added every 5-10 years extra to it. When we all retire after doing at least 10 years & winning at least 2 rings. Each player who retires after the 10y gets 250-500 million guaranteed. See everyone wants to get paid in the NBA like it’s an individual sport that makes the team win; when it’s not so what you drop 40 you could average 30 all career long doesn’t guarantee multiple titles let alone one. So if we build a team that constantly gets better physically & mentally rooted in depth & loyalty to our picks/investment we can turn not just a player on our roster into the best but our whole roster. We all be millionaires every year anyways so why be greedy. Let’s make it easy on the organization that gave us a chance to play our dream for capital dollar. We’re not here just to get paid; we’re here to make history to change how people view this city & team across not just the NBA but the league. Coming from nothing to have the opportunity others may have not achieved the money will come from endorsement etc but we want the mindset to change the game with ferocious humbleness cause we know you’re worth millions but sometimes you gotta realize money isn’t everything & doesn’t bring the glory so if you want the check & cash in quick on the dream that’s not what players we desire to have. We desire the players who want to cash in on the dream of the future while achieving what the greats before us have but at a higher longer rate of consistency & roster stability.

  11. Here the sad fact is back then when the Micheal Jordan and bulls were winning championships. Scottie Pippen was underpay in the team.

  12. This Cornball jive turkey wearing a Diddy baby oil jersey trying to diss a team and a chip which he never saw. SMH

  13. Here we go with this bs of the small markets the thunder literally got approved to build a big ass stadium last year if you wanna talk money of everyone wants to make a fuss of the "small market" they might as well shut as those twams down and hust leave the california teams boston ny and miami lets see how fun the league is woth like 10 teams all bs there big markets

  14. What if the players decide that whatever the thunder can pay them is perfectly fine and they all stay together and win a ton of championships. money can be made in endorsements and back-end

  15. As Kenton said you gotta pay your Steph, your klay, your iggy. Someone else has to get screwed tho. Either your Draymond or kevon

  16. yea, which is why those will be HOF and some other more individually accomplished players will just be "remembered by the streets"

  17. Pay cut when you got 60mil a year for 3 year should be mandatory… Why wanting 500mil…. You are already set for 10 generations … Greed greed greed. USA main problem

  18. If you keep backfilling with talented draft picks AND you still have your core vets then you are set forever.

You're 4th option wants to get paid? Sign and trade for picks. Repeat every 2 years.

  19. If they wanna win, the owners gotta buy in too. The millionaires take the paycut but the billionaires don’t….😂😂😂 Jalen Brunson gave back over $100 million to the Knicks, FUCK that.

  20. Yea… that OKC team is gonna split up. These guys need to go get thier $$$ before they get injured. This was just a beautiful thing this year.
