so could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Damen Lillard to the Phoenix Suns this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea for fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns receiving Damen Lillard and a 2031 first round draft pick so my immediate thoughts is that if the Bucks are somehow able to get rid of Damian Lillard and a first round draft pick that’s pretty impressive but if they’re getting back Bradley Beal in return that just makes no sense whatsoever in my opinion now from the Bucks perspective Dame’s a bit of a sunk cost for them because he’s an expensive player that won’t likely play a single game for them next year with his Achilles injury so if you want to make Giannis happy I do see the pressure perhaps from the fan base in the front office uh to surround any sort of talent with Giannis for the upcoming season and kind of give whatever they can to make him happy hopefully and make him stay there long term so I guess in this situation they could view Bradley Beal as sort of a similar player in regards to financial value but he can at least play for the Bucks next year there’s a possibility that if you’re paying this money anyways you might as well pay for a player that can play but truthfully speaking like Bradley Beal could very well get bought out and if the Bucks of course were an option for him if he wanted to go there play next to Giannis etc they could get him as well as keep Dame in the first round draft pick at a much reduced cost those are just my thoughts now from the Suns perspective I love this trade for them you’re basically giving up on a bad contract but you’re getting back one in return so an injured Damen Lillard probably nothing crazy there but if he comes back from his injury and plays pretty well the following season plus you’re getting back a free 2031 first round draft pick from a team in Milwaukee that is very worried about their star player like if he asked for a trade somehow this season or maybe next year that 21 a 2031 first round draft pick could be outstanding so for the Phoenix Suns who sort of lack lack draft capital right now I would be fine taking on an injured player but attaching a first round pick to that from a team that might lose out on their star player as early as this season so in my personal opinion I think the winner of this deal would be the Phoenix Suns but as always leave your thoughts
