LeBron’s Top Pick Teammates: #nba

DeAndre Aen is reportedly a Laker. His deal is a two-year $16.6 million agreement, which means that two of the top three picks of the 2018 draft are all in the same team. Aan being first overall, Luca Donic being third overall. Interestingly, Marvin Bagley the third is second overall, and he’s an unrestricted free agent. He can send with any team he chooses. If he joins the Lakers, they could have the top three 2018 draft picks on the same team. This also means that if LeBron stays on the Lakers for the next season, he would play with nine number one overall picks throughout his career, the most in NBA history. The previous number one picks he played with are Joe Smith in 2009, Shaq in 2010, Greg Odin in 2013, Kyrie Irving in 2015, Andrew Bogot for one game in 2017, Derrick Rose in 2018, Anthony Davis in 2019, Dwight Howard in 2020, and now DeAndre Aen in 2025. LeBron technically plays with himself, so you could count that as 10. The only thing that might put a monkey wrench into this is that LeBron was wearing a welcome home hat while golfing in Ohio. Some people are speculating that he’s hinting at returning to Cleveland, but there’s not a lot of evidence that he’s actually interested or that the Cavs even want him or that the Lakers are willing to give him up. It’s a complicated story based on whispers.
