towards the end of the year. What was it like sitting behind Kirk
for about 14 games and then you playing like the last three
three games of the season? Yeah I mean it’s it was a lot of like just mental stuff
that you take away from it. You know, obviously you can’t be in the game
but sitting on the sideline playing a game in my head,
you know the best I can because obviously you can’t simply yeah,
you can’t simulate the- Mental reps Yeah, you can’t simulate the pressure and stuff like that. You know, just thinking about who I would
throw it to in those situations, but, it just gave me a lot of confidence
going in whenever I got in. And here comes the rookie Listen to the crowd
as he walks out on the field. You know obviously, being the quarterback. You know, you got to be the leader. You got to be the ultimate leader. What’s what’s your style and your definition,
of true leadership. Yeah,

of being a professional quarterback? It’s still just football. Yeah. Like, that’s the biggest thing

I always felt like sometimes my coaches would hold back
a little bit. Being a lefty you know do you find the game
being a little bit difficult or do your coach, your offensive coordinator
give you free rein to just you know, to be you? Man I get what you’re saying.
Like the holding back. He be trying. Yeah. I like coach
call it like let it go. Yeah I’m like coach call it like. Let it go. He like,
oh we got to roll you out to the left and I’m like, man roll me out to the right. Do this, do that. Like,
it don’t matter man. I can do it.. Yeah, because that’s what I went through I used to always tell my coaches,
roll me out to the right. Because sometimes going across your body,
throwing across your body is really what you know. Be better Improves the accuracy. So so you be having that same. Same thing I feel like I throw better
rolling to the right. Throw it down field. It’s caught Mooney. Big time
