But this trade would see the Detroit Pistons receiving Demar De Rozan and the Sacramento Kings receiving Isaiah Stewart a 2028 firstround pick and a 2027 second round draft pick. So I think if Demard Rosen were to get dealt this off season, the Detroit Pistons actually make quite a bit of sense in my opinion as a landing spot for him. Now, in this scenario, the asking price, relatively speaking, isn’t that crazy. Like, it’s a roster player in Isaiah Stewart. Good young roster player brings a good presence uh below the basket, but nothing I would be too scared to move off of there. A first round pick three years from now, which I guess if things go south could be pretty valuable. Uh but sort of how this Pistons team is heading uh from a direction standpoint, I would bank on them being a playoff team in 2028. So, likely nothing crazy there in regards to value. and a second round draft pick is also nothing. So, if you’re the Pistons and you want to support Kate Cunningham, who had a tremendous year this past year, uh, with some more help, I think a good veteran leader like Demard Rosen makes a lot of sense. Demard Rosen at this point of his NBA career, is still playing at a relatively high level. He can very well be a 20 plus point per game guy. I think on this Pistons team, he can be like a number two or number three option offensively speaking, which is a perfect spot for him in my opinion. And if you’re able to surv uh support K Cunningham with players that aren’t on long-term contracts, good veterans, good pros, it makes way too much sense in my opinion for the Pistons to not consider this deal. So, if I was Sacramento Kings here, I don’t mind the package. They get a little bit younger, they get some draft capital as well. Perhaps a first round pick swap instead of that second or maybe another first round draft pick down the road would be sort of an avenue that I would want to take personally speaking. But for those reasons, I think the winner of this deal would be the Detroit Pistons. But as always, leave your thoughts.
