If the Kings want to get a little bit younger and shake up their team, I think getting Brandon Ingram to kind of play alongside Damon Sabonis and Zack Lavine as probably a third option offensively speaking is pretty solid. quality throw in players like Keegan Murray as well as well as the rest of this roster. This could be sort of the move that gets the uh the Kings back to the playoffs with a bit of a shakeup offensively speaking. Now, the Raptors perspective, I love this deal. Like Demar De Rozan, you know, this would be a cool story for him heading back to Toronto uh to finish off the last little bit of his career, but he’s also a pretty solid offensive player as well. He’s a pretty consistent player. He can get 20 plus points per game. He can stay on the court and just be a pretty reliable option, I would say, um on this Raptors team. Dennis Schroeder’s a good veteran guard to have as well. Um, obviously this is an expensive move for them to make, but they’re getting rid of a bad contract in my opinion in Brandon Ingram. Like this guy, his contract’s too much for just how often this guy’s injured. Um, if you’re the Raptors and you’re able to get any sort of value for this, that’s pretty good. So, Demar De Rozan at the very least can be a trade candidate later on. Maybe you give him to a contender at the deadline, whatever the case may be. Uh, that might be the best move for Demar. But that first round draft pick in 2028, like that’s a pretty valuable pick. The Kings could very well be a dumpster fire next year. Maybe they blow up their roster and if they’re giving out first round draft picks and it doesn’t work out, that could be a steal for this Raptors team whose future truthfully doesn’t look that good.
