You know, you can put him at any position and he will be effective on that

As long as he develops physically, he's gonna be really good.
He is capable of doing things up and down the court, he does have the IQ which is absolutely impressive, my Raps don't get him, that's fine, he's good with the Blazers, I want to see him go much more further in the NBA and I mean it, there will never be a next Yao or Yi to ever play in the NBA again besides Yang.
He needs a little work on mid-level defense if you watched the new orleans game. He is a little slow but can do moves and is willing to attempt to score. Outside of that portland NEEDS to incorporate him into the offense. He is a rookie who does not speak english so he will be defaulting to seniority and can easily be relegated to screens and rebounds until he is viewed as just about big body.

If Yang has a turnover, misses a shot, etc, you'll notice how quick he is to just get over it and do his thing the next possession. I know it doesnt seem like a big thing, but seeing that in a player so young shows he's been there before. Saw a lot of the rooks and g-league guys hanging their head down, looking defeated after bad plays and stuff.
