So, this trade’s actually pretty intriguing because this is actually capitalizing on uh Royce O’Neal being somewhat valuable in the trade market. And if you’re the Phoenix Suns or a Phoenix Suns fan, this is a really good return just sort of based on the direction of the franchise, how they’re currently headed and how they want to be going in the future. So, if you’re able to flip an olderish player, I think Gross O’Neal is about 31 or 32 if I’m not mistake mistaken. So, a good veteran player. Uh, flip them to a team like Washington who has a lot of draft capital and young talent at their disposal. If you’re able to get back two draft picks, one of which being a first round draft pick, that’s pretty awesome for a team that doesn’t have a lot of draft capital moving forward. A younger player in the form of Malachi Brainham, not game changing by any stretch, but if you were to go to this Sun’s team, perhaps have maybe more of of a role in this team and the offense, maybe he develops into a decent player. I guess only time will tell. getting back a second round draft pick that is actually their own in 2026 is always nice to have. So just from an asset management 101 perspective, I love this move for the Phoenix Suns and if for the Washington Wizards maybe a little bit too rich of a price in my opinion, but this team wants to kind of turn the page a little bit. They’ve actually made some really good moves this off seasonason. So if they’re able to get back a really good three and D wing, a good veteran in the form of Rice O’Neal, that’s a pretty good move. Now if worst comes to worst, he’s a very tradable asset as well. not making a gigantic amount of money, a good veteran, and as I mentioned before, a three and D guy uh that can come off the bench and play some playoff minutes. So perhaps if that stuff doesn’t go well, maybe they flip them at the deadline, get back some draft capital, and just kind of rearrange their roster that way. So really solid trade, I think, if I had to pick a winner. I’m actually going to go with the Phoenix Suns, but as always, leave your thoughts.
