Malik Monk was one of the guys I was hoping we would get before we got Jordan Clarkson. Monk is more productive than Deuce is.. but not a necessary trade move for the Knicks.

Even though he’s can at time be a huge distraction to whatever team he is apart of. I still believe that Ben Simmons is the best fit for our team. Between Monk or Shamet they remind me too much of Jordan Clarkson as far as what they’re capable of doing. I understand that this is trade talk, not final roster spot. Malik Monk would be a great pick up but we would be too top heavy at the Guard position. One thing for sure he would be the most explosive and athletic player on the squad and something we haven’t had in a minute. He can get hot and plays above the rim with the best of them. Even if you trade Hart it would be an upgrade for sure in the box score but the intangibles it’s tough to measure of what Hart brings.
