Cleveland Cavaliers Interested In Malik Beasley
The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks have both expressed interest in Malik Beasley, per @hoopshype. Beasley, who was recently cleared as not a target in the federal gambling investigation, is now back on the market as one of the NBA’s most reliable perimeter shooters.
Knicks executive Gersson Rosas, who originally signed Beasley to a 4-year, $60M deal with the Timberwolves, could look to reunite with him in New York. Both the Knicks and Cavaliers only have minimum contracts to offer, but Beasley’s shooting (ranked second in total 3-pointers made last season) still makes him a valuable option for playoff contenders.
