The Mavericks held training camp up in the “Great White North” at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Dana Larson, Lesley McCaslin and Devin Harris introduce us to the Mavs’ new look coaching staff, including a 1-on-1 with new assistant and Simon Fraser alum Jay Triano. It was an important couple of days in “Van-Cooper” as Dallas laid the foundation for building a big and dynamic defense that will make the Mavs formidable title contenders.

The FO did a great job putting together the new coaching staff. I was initially bummed that Shammgod left, but Phil Handy? Good replacement! And Mike? He was already tweaking Flagg's shooting form.
