Let’s face it, the kings are not ready yet. As much as I’m a kings fan, they really need to update this roster. And if the kings keep losing, I don’t know if they are going to fire coach Christie or keep him. This franchise has been dysfunctional
Talent wise they have pieces. Obviously more to winning games than just talent though. Maybe they can get it together. Don't hold your breath

Schroeder is best as a 6th man. Russ is a better PG who makes players around him better. The starting lineup should be Russ,Keon(while Keegan is out), Demar, Lavine, Sabonis. The main action should be Russ & Sabonis PnR surrounded by shooters and then down the stretch iso Demar, Lavine or whoever is hot.
The theme is the same because the roster is the same. The problem was never Mike brown.

Giannis is going to destroy the kings. Even if it was Giannis alone against all five kings players, he will definitely dominate. He’s a force in the nba and another rising star is victor wembanyama. Bucks are 4-1. Spurs are 5-0.

That's a quote you hear about a two time defending champion that's just waiting for the playoffs, not whatever the Sacramento Kings are.
Doug was a fan service hire just like Vlade at GM. Mike Brown was a real coach. We fired him because our front office refuses to add any talent at forward to this roster.
Keegan returning helps rebounding drastically. Helps defense drastically. That alone helps the offense without him taking a shot…
Sounds like Chris got this figured out…what he is saying makes TONS of sense as far as trying to get set players to do something that’s not in them in terms of the older set in their ways players…I think Mike tried to do that the second season of his tenure and struggled the same way. Roster structure seems to be the issue like Chris is saying…this particular show with Chris opened my eyes to what he is saying and I can’t honestly poke a hole in anything he is saying unfortunately. Still early let’s see what changes happen.

I've been kind of hard on the Kings so far and for good reason, I think. However, many of us looked at the schedule to start the season and thought 2-18 was a very real possibility. The only thing that really gets to me is their ability to play great, then somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If I went to my regular job, making 1% of what they make, and only worked hard for 80% of the time, I would be unemployed. I don't care how much any single player makes, if they slack, they sit. If they don't like it, then play hard 48 minutes per game. Thoughts?
