Shot attempts do not baskets make. And the injury curse is upon us… again. Would love the stats on the most injured NBA teams over the last decade. Blazers have to be a top 10 in that regard.

Laker fan here. My opinion of the game was that…after the initial slow start, in the first quarter…the Blazers played their style of basketball. Physical/pressure defense really kept them in the game, when their 3pt shooting was WAY off. The Lakers won this game off of gutsy play, with big performances from Nick Smith Jr., Rui, and Ayton, combined with bad team shooting from beyond the arc, by the Blazers. If the Blazers just shot a bit better, the results would have been different. These games happen.

first time listening to your cast – really enjoyed your insight – i am a die hard Lakers fan, and i can't blame the blazers for the lost – they executed a well planned game plan, i don't think anyone in the arena though Jackson Hayes would be the relieve valve for your traps, time and time again your guards did an awesome job at pressing, but when Hayes got the ball it was an easy b-line for our guards – i did feel that Bronny out worked some of your guards 🙁

The Blazers started off slowly last season as well. I know their record is better, but just watching them it feels like they are not in rhythm.
Also, Shaedon often looks like he cannot penetrate the defense. His dribbling isn’t strategic at all and looks like there is no purpose.

As a Lakers fan, this was a trap game for Blazers. On paper Lakers had no chance with our 3 best players out. Second game of a back to back, both teams.
But the thing is, in the NBA, even the end of the bench are some of the best players in the world. Our bench is mostly young and fighting for a spot in the NBA. They had fresh legs and something to prove. Plus, Aton was freed up tonight as we needed his offense when we normally dont.
Blazers played down to their competition because they thought it would be easy… but the Lakers players played at 100% and it was enough to best the blazers who played at 70%.
Lakers have been guilty of playing down to competition in years past.. its frusterating as hell.
this blazers team is boring to watch. Ive been a blazer fan since the 80's and Ive never gotten so uninterested. I'm not just speaking because of the dud game against lakers, no, its the team has no rhythm. its not entertaining. even in close games at the final seconds, theres no emotional suspense.
