It was a subtle moment on the last play that was the game winning shot.
Tre Jones got the ball into Josh.
He had the ball in his hand, swinging a bit back and forth to get his defender a little off balance for the pick.
He just looked strong with the ball to start this play. Even just standing there with the ball, there was a knowledgeable chill. Like, I'll make my move when I'm ready, when the time is right. I just felt relaxed in that moment. It was a strange feeling for a last second play.
I'm not even interested in making comparisons to recent past players. This team has played well enough for me to live in the now and not be bitter.
I love the that the bulls got off to this start. The question is if they can maintain it for the season. The past five seasons, we have under achieved. The tables have flipped. The more we win, the more teams will scheme and plan for us. The more teams will get up when they see us on the schedule, they will take us more seriously. If we can win through those changes, then we'll be legit contenders for the East.

NEVER FORGET … Bulls cried and wanted Caruso to stay.
So, it looks like Giddey would have been worth that $30 million per year, but good on the Bulls for driving a hard bargain.
If OKC knew Giddey would make this sort of impact, they could have gotten a much better deal than Caruso for that trade. Good thing Giddey's trade value was at a all-time low

Great points! This team started playing like this a few games leading into Giddey's half court shot vs the Lakers last year. The Bulls are very deep and we are seeing our second unit out playing other teams. We indeed won the Caruso trade. We have a mini Kirlenko in Matas. It will be interesting to see the insertion of White, who is an all star level player. Lastly, can we finally give some love to Billy Donovan. This has been his best performance.
